My boss has approved holidays for most of my team for the next 2 weeks. I'm still at the office... Not looking forward to it. Not much going on here besides that.
H is in England right now and he bought me shoes that I chose by pictures and text messaging. Hopefully this turns out well, lol. I hope our dollar keeps rising v. the pound because of the Brexit for the next few days that he's there. I want him to get some kids clothes.

Nothing too exciting today - just work. Although no way am I lasting until the official end of day!
Starting to look like another busy weekend ahead. I need one where I don't have to do anything but looking at a calendar I'm not sure I'll get one before baby arrives!

I'm looking forward to going out to lunch today with my work bestie, and we have fun stuff planned this weekend - IKEA tomorrow and baseball game (without kids!) on Sunday (DH got suite tix through his work, so there should be catered food and air conditioning), I can't wait!
Did my glucose test this morning so I treated myself to Dunkin for breakfast afterwards. Last time I had to do the orange drink, this one was lime and it wasn't quite as terrible... Looking forward to the weekend!
Good morning guise. Work has been a cluster so far. As I said in my other Friday thread...30 weeks today yo Pretty stoked about that. Kind of feeling the crunch to get everything done. If I go early like I did with DS then really I only have 8 weeks left. Last night I washed and put away all of DS's old baby clothes. Tonight I'm tackling baby blankets, burp clothes and bath towels.
Things I still need to do: Wash and sterilize breast pump parts (how? thoughts on this one? boil?) and bottles. Dig out stroller, car seat and swing from basement and clean. Hang wall art in nursery. Clean out closet in nursery and free it from all of H's Star Wars figurines and other junk. Phew. I still have time but it feels like a lot right now.
Then I work tonight at 7pm. Other than that this weekend is going to be pretty low-key. Attempting to finish the majority of the bathroom renovation and get out to my parent's house for a bbq and give my dad his father day presents.
DD and I (well, really just me) got the inside of our car all clean and vacuumed then took it through the car wash. We're going minivan shopping tomorrow and we're hoping to get a decent amount for our Suv that we are trading in since it's a only a 2014. I'm so excited for a minivan. It's going to make traveling home to each of our parents so much more manageable. Plus, there are very limited car options that can fit 3 rear facing car seats comfortably, plus all the gear we'll have to take.
HOA meeting last night went long, and of course there's always the last minute information drop that just sets a bomb off and gets everyone worked up.
This morning I'm dragging, my head is killing me, and I just want to sleep. But I have a big presentation on Tuesday, and I haven't finished my slides yet, so I'm working.
This weekend is my and my mom's birthday! Hers is tomorrow, mine is Sunday. She and my sister are driving up tomorrow and we're going to go get pedicures and spend the whole day together. I'm hoping to convince H that we should go to our favorite hibachi place for dinner. And my mom is bringing up the huge thing of baby clothes she got from her coworker, so we'll spend some time sorting through that and talking baby shower plans.
I just need to get the downstairs and master bathrooms cleaned and the yard weed whacked before they get here.

Was supposed to go shopping for party supplies, but now I'm not because we're canceling my son's 13th birthday party due to HFM. He still has the rash and blisters today so I don't want to take any chances and spread it to his friends. I'm trying to figure out of we can reschedule it, but that's going to be a challenge too. Ugh this thing sucks.
Yay for 30 weeks singingsea! I feel ya on having so much left to do! I'd say either boil or get those sterilization bags. I got the Medela ones from Amazon.
I'm dragging ass today. DS came to our bed at 4:45 and slept until 7:45 but he tosses and turns so I get broken sleep during that time. I think I need a Starbucks iced coffee, I only have hot coffee and no a/c. The dog has a vet appt but that's it for today.
This is our last weekend home before spending all of them at my in-laws. DH is doing a side job on Sunday so that leaves tomorrow to get as much stuff done in the boys' room as possible. The good thing is that a lot of the cleaning and laundry can be done when I'm off during the week.
merryrissmas, I love ikea. Seriously one of my favorite places to go. haha how lame am I?
jennybeans, I had my glucose test yesterday. I asked for the clear kind this time that doesn't have bromenated vegtable oil (sp?) in it. Hubs is such a freak about that and other ingredients. Anyways it was actually a lot better than the orange kind. Tasted better. Weird. I wish I knew about that with the others. Hubs asked them for it at our last appointment so they had the little bottle set aside with my name on it when I went in yesterday.

Anyone else have nothing done for baby? I'm not planning on buying newborn size diapers because DS was 7lbs 15 oz, DD was 8lbs, and size 1 diapers are for 8+ lb babies, and, don't we get some diapers from the hospital?
I also have not gotten the baby clothes out of storage yet. I think we're going to go to our storage this weekend, so maybe I'll start working on that lol.

Since this is our first, if I had nothing done at this point I think it would make me anxious. Although we really didn't start working on anything until a couple weeks ago.

It's my third, and 2nd girl. I already have the pack n play in my room, just need to put the bassinet top on it and that's where she will be sleeping for a while. And the car seat has been cleaned but we put it in storage to get it out of the way for a while. But I haven't even gotten a coming home outfit for her lol.

I haven't done anything. This is also my 2nd girl and we are waiting to move into our house but I'm way way way behind...oops!SaveSave

I just bought some size 1 because target is having a good sale this week. I was going to get newborn too but they were sold out of the box I wanted. I cloth diaper when I'm home on leave but my husband refuses so I hope one box will be enough for him. DD was barely seven pounds so we definitely used newborn size last time and probably will again fur a few weeks.
And I bought some clothes from another mom on craigslist but it probably isn't enough. So I feel behind but I've got three months.

We definitely don't have a coming home outfit yet either!

Lol, I started counting in weeks left, so, 10 weeks and 5 days till my EDD really makes it seem like there's no time left.

I'm over today. Not a bad day or anything, I'm just done being at work right now. Technically I still have about an hour to go, but no way in hell am I going to be here until 5:30 since my boss isn't even on site today.
