Am running out of ideas. I normally have crackers and cheese or PB. Half tuna sandwich. Granola bars. Oatmeal drink. Yogurt. Fruit slices. I sometimes hit DD#1s stash of prepacked cake slices when I dbt feel like eating any of those that I mentioned. What are you usually having that's easy to pull for MOTN feeds? Thanks in advance
Mine is sometimes a pre- or during BF snack, but usually (I'm going to try to start eating healthier, but this is what it has been):
- leftovers: baked ziti, fried rice, steak and salad, mashed potatoes, things like that - nuts - hummus or Greek yogurt dip with pretzel crisps - bread - hot chocolate (I made a healthier version of it)
I just ignore the hunger during the night and drink a bunch of water. I keep a big bottle by my bed. During the day I've been living on Cinnamon Pecan Special K cereal and Life cereal (both with or without milk), halos, apples and PB, and grapefruit.
I don't eat anything. I roll over, put a boob in his mouth and we both fall back to sleep. Sometimes I'll sit up to nurse, but once he's done, I lay back down and sleep. Sleep > food.
During the day, I usually have a snack Owen is having. Grapes, cheese, banana, crackers, granola bar, ect. I always have water though, with a few lemon slices. I use my big hospital water cup I got, because it has a straw.
Almonds, bananas, Peanut/almond butter and apple slices, the occasional Clif Bar. I also buy veggie and fruit snack trays so when I'm really hungry I can just grab it out of the fridge. It makes it easier to make good choices instead of going for DS's chips or snack cakes.

I have 4 little bears, just like my name says. 2 girls 2 boys ages 8,5,3, and my newest babe. 2 of my little bears have life threatening food allergies, feel free to ask me more about that!

Pre packed cake slices? Where do I get those?! I generally do not need a breastfeeding snack because we side lay and I snooze while he's nursing if he had a good latch...However I'm still taking Motrin for pain so get up to eat something and take Motrin around midnight. Also your post made me really want a tuna sandwich :-)
Last night I had a Nutella and go, I bought a big box at Costco, I highly recommend them :-)

I also just sleep at night, but here's what I eat during the day.
Greek yogurt and granola Pretzels and peanut butter Apple and peanut butter Kefir probiotic Granola bar (I like clif bars or kashi ) Bread with honey and pb
Thanks for the ideas ladies. I totally forgot abt the apple slices and pb, hummus and then mixed nuts plus some other snacks you mentioned.
grommom you may buy the prepacked cake slices fr any Asian store. It is not cake slice per se, it is more of the sponge cake with cream filling usually vanilla, choco, butter or mocha.

Oh I love those! Maybe I can convince dh to take me, I'm kind of in the mood for some ramen anyway :-)

No regular snack after BF, but I got used to eating a lemon Noosa yogurt around 9 most nights for a treat at the end of pregnancy. It's hard to give up!

Junk.
I have eaten more chocolate in the last 3 weeks than I have in the last 3 yrs. It's not that there are not good choices to pick from, that's just not what I want. If I'm starving in the MOTN I grab a granola bar but during the day it's a free for all. It has to stop soon.

You are not alone. I've been wanting to eat chocolates since I gave birth. I'm telling myself it is an energy source that can help with the lack of sleep and exhaustion. I sneak in some m & ms for when i get sleepy and cnt take a nap
