Late starting this but...
This is the Waiting to do Something thread posted once a week (usually on Mondays - sometimes not) for those of us that experience long, extended cycles. Whether it's medicated cycles, long (45ish + days) cycles, postpartum/breastfeeding, TTA, on the bench, or something else, this is the place we gather throughout the week to discuss and vent about our slightly unique situation.

GTKY: In honour of Canada Day/4th of July, what's your favourite travel destination within your home country?

Numbers: CD 13, 2nd PP cycle

Circumstances: TFAS, seeing whether PP cycles have "normalized"

RRNFNSQ: Flying solo this week since DH is away. Depending on how long this cycle is our timing could end up being really crappy with the days he's away but only time will tell.

GTKY: I'm a prairie girl at heart and love to go anywhere I can see the big sky but I also enjoy going to the Rockies out in BC.

Numbers: Cycle 4, Month 6, CD 20

Circumstances: TTC #1

RRNFNSQ: When H and I started trying we decided we would try until my annual appointment and then talk about what to do next (maybe RE referral). Well, my appointment is today, and we haven't talked about this...oops! I guess I should do that this morning.

I'm not sure if we should even get a referral at this point. There are some things that are maybe happening that would maybe cause us to have to TTA for a while. I definitely don't want to waste an RE's time with an appointment if we have to start TTA after that.

GTKY: Alaska hands down is my favorite to visit. We went there 2 years ago, and it was absolutely amazing and breathtaking. We are hoping to go back next year.

Thats a tough place to be gabride2010. I hope you're able to figure it all out soon.

Numbers: cycle 2 this year. Cd 26.

Circumstances: TFAS soon. PCOS with long cycles. Temping to see what's up.

RRNFNSQ: my temp spiked late last week, dropped and went up again. No idea if I have O'd or not. This is making me realize how much I have forgotten since TTC DS1.

GTKY: It is shameful but I have not traveled Canada outside of Ontario. So I would say Georgian Bay is where my heart is, but I am sure I could be moved by MANY places in Canada. It is such a beautiful country and I am so proud to be Canadian.

Circumstances: Stopped BCP/haven't had a postpartum period

RRNFNSQ: I may have had some EWCM over the weekend. So we'll see what happens

GTKY: In honour of Canada Day/4th of July, what's your favourite travel destination within your home country? I love Massachusetts and Maine. However, there is also lots of beauty without my own state.

Thanks gabride2010! I hope your conversation with your H was helpful, sorry you find yourself in a tough place with TTC/TTA.
obi, we definitely have a gorgeous country! I've been all the way west, lived in MB, SK and ON, and visited as far east as Montreal, each place has its own beauty. Now I just need to get to the east coast and the north! I hope temping helps you figure out your cycles.

Thanks obi! Was there a reason for your temp spike (drinking, not sleeping well, hot room, etc...)? Sorry your temps are confusing you. Do you temp orally or vaginally? Can you link your chart for me (I'm mobile)?

My temp has gone back up since posting. No drinking or anything for the initial spike.
I missed a couple days over the weekend because I was OOT without my thermometer.

Circumstances: Just waiting to get the IUD removed.

RRNFNSQ: So, I've noticed cramping for the past few months about halfway in between periods. O? I'm not temping yet and I never experienced this pre-DD, maybe its a side effect of the IUD?

obi You definitely haven't ovulated yet. I get weird spikes for no reason also. If you keep seeing these spikes, you may want to consider temping vaginally. Sometimes that can help even out charts. I hope you ovulate soon!
