I dunno, we hand-wash all the bottles and pump parts with a bottle brush, then throw them in a steamer bag to sanitize. If I do them every day, it only takes a couple of minutes.
I just wash everything by hand. I pump and wash the parts right away so things don't get gross. If I don't have time right away, I toss them in a Tupperware filled with soap and water to get them started

This! I use a bottle brush from the dollar store. Works just as well.
We have a small tub we got in the NICU to wash my pump parts so we just keep that in one side of the sink. We rinse the bottles and put them in the tub, then depending on if the dishwasher is ready to run (it usually is) we put them in the dishwasher, if not we hand wash. We have two of the baskets as well for the dishwasher (we use Dr Browns bottles with TONS of parts). In the morning I pull the parts out and put them on the "lawn" (drying rack) so they can totally dry!
We also have a lot of bottles so we don't have to worry about it as much.

I have enough bottles to get me through two days (6 a day right now). Later it will be enough to get us through three. It's worth the extra $20 to not have to stress about bottles being clean!
Yeah we watched BRU for the deals and ended up with 20 of the 8 ounce bottles. It's so nice not to have to stress!

rubykitten we are using the Level 2 nipples. He's FF so that may make a difference but it has helped with gas a lot! If the baby is collapsing the nipple it's a sign to go up but you don't want them to leak milk out from too fast a flow.
I think we moved to Level 3 with my daughter when she was around 7-8 months.
lovemyk what baskets do you use? I bought a second only to find it won't fit at the same time. I'd love to squeeze two in though!
I have the munchkin ones they sell at Target. I have to put them on different sides of the top rack to get them to fit. My dishwasher at our old house fit them back to back but our new one here is too narrow in most spots.
Also is anyone actually able to fit 10 nipples in those things?!? I usually only get 5 to fit wth them staggered.
I have the same basket. I use the Avent Natural nipples and can only stagger 5 in there too! I may buy a second basket too.
My pump parts are stored in the fridge. They go in the dishwasher once a day, too.
+2 except I don't do the sanitize setting, just regular. I have two baskets because we often have too many nipples/parts for just 1
+3...I rarely hand washed bottles for DS, and I don't plan to for DD either! Much easier to just toss them on the top rack when I am running the dishwasher anyway.
