f14mama big hugs to you guys, it can be so hard to figure out! I'm a School Counselor so pretty well trained on mental health issues, but when it's close to home it can be really difficult to figure out what, is anything, is amiss.

Sounds like some of you need some TPs handed out to your husbands.
Regarding housework, I just do what I can and leave the rest. I try not to stress about the housework. I know I am not contributing as much, but I am also making a baby. I don't get upset if DH doesn't do it right away, he's doing so much other stuff to help get ready for the baby. He's a flat pack furniture building machine. He does eventually do the housework too. I just have gotten used to the lowered expectations of what my house should look like.
We're almost done with our room reorganizing. The craft room is now the office. The office is almost DDs big girl room. The nursery will be decorated last because we won't use it until about a month after DD2 shows up. Still lots to do though. We need to clean out the garage storage to make room for the stuff I decided to keep from the craft room, have a yard sale, and get rid of everything that is currently in the front room. That's the staging room for all the stuff that is being set aside for storage, yard sale, donation, and stuff I plan to give away. This last piece is particularly important because I am delivering in that room.
I am interviewing for a new job in a new town. We're house hunting because we want to move. Pretty much changing my whole life right now. Why not, I am only 29 weeks pregnant...
Sorry beckyrosen , that sucks. That shit drives me crazy, I LOVE your strategy that you used before. I may just start doing that and letting him truly feel what it's like to fend for himself.
fem , you know, I've definitely wondered if he has something going on. He definitely doesn't "connect" with people or have empathy like he should. I've always chalked this up to him being aloof, but I'm really starting to wonder if it's something deeper. His Mom effed him up in a pretty good way by smothering him to death, so he always had social and anxiety issues and is the first to admit that and will say things like "I don't want DS to struggle like I did". Glad you guys got it figured out!
LadyNymeria , how's jury duty??? Did you get released?
Ugh...home now but it was a long day. I was pulled for questioning and dismissed from that case because it was going to be next week and it's a really busy week at work (missed client deadlines if I'm not there). Usually you get sent home when you're dismissed but there were enough cases picking jurors today I had to go back to the jury pool waiting room. At about 12:30 they announced a list of name, including me, for people who were headed to questioning a second time but since court lunch hour is 1-2pm we weren't going to go for questioning until 2pm. I get back to the room at 1:45 and they don't come get us until almost 3. Went for questioning for the second case and was dismissed again due to conflicts with the expected 3 week trial period. Finally left the building about 3:45.
Anyone who wasn't told they were part of the 2pm questioning got sent home before lunch at 1pm!! Not fair!!! The big 'ol belly did nothing to help me except make other jurors feel bad for me that I was there.

theotherjacobsons good luck with the interview! Dang, that's a lot to deal with!
Sofa king hot in my house! I'm a ding dong and didn't sign DS up for tumbling ahead of time. I figured that I could sign up early and do it today. The class was full. Luckily there's one a little later on Friday and closer to my house. I went ahead and signed him up for a play and learn class for Wednesdays but it started at the same time as the one I missed today so we'll start that next week.
