The pump parts thing I would say is NBD, but the pacifiers.... Ewwwww.
How do you all clean pacifiers? Boil them? Throw them in the dishwasher? How often? Just wondering what I should be doing
I guess i am anal. I boil them if they get touched by anyone or anything outside of the house. Warm soapy water for falling on the floor at my house. Dishwasher is a great alternative to boiling tho! peachesncream, is that safe (re the comment about hot plastic)?

A friend of mine with several children will pick up a fallen paci, stuck it in her own mouth to "clean it", then give it straight to child.
It makes me scream internally every single time.
This is worse than whatever is on the floor. It gives your baby bacteria that causes cavities, which is not normal flora. I cringe when people do this also.

We have a "boil" every night. I do it while Mr. Pugs walks Miles to almost-sleep. We boil my pump parts and any pacis that have been used. Helps us to keep on top of it and not run out.
Mr. Pugs is SUPER anal about the Pacis and wants to boil them after every time Miles uses one then discards it. I'm a little more lax about it. ha
Character shirts: My kid has 4 ninja turtle onesies. I need to get some star wars ones. I have a billion character tees for myself that no longer fit because of pregnancy boos, so you probably see where I stand.
Dolls: Sigh. I have lost this battle. MIL got the fucking creepiest porcelain doll thing ever. Also I swear if one more person buys her a stuffed animal i will go bsc. She I 4 months and she has half a dozen stuffed animals. Stop the fucking madness.
Our new daycare we are starting in August doesn't allow any character shirts.
My husband is a comic book expert. No, for real, that's his job. So, needless to say, Miles has a ton of nerdy comic-booky clothes. He's never going to get to wear them all, now. D-:

We do micro steam bag at least once a week. I try to do it every Sunday nite.

Oh my gosh. My DH would be so jealous of your DH's job! He's been collecting/reading comics since he was 9 or so. We have a room that is his comic room. I would be so sad about not being able to wear character shirts to DC. Any reason for the ban?
Confession: I never ask people if they want to hold B. I don't have a problem with other people holding her, but I'm not going to shove her on some1. If you ask, I'll hand her over; otherwise I'm perfectly happy holding my child.
This is me, but mostly because my kid pukes a lot. Chances are if you are holding her, you will get puked on. And I just feel bad volunteering anyone to hold my pukey baby.

It's a private montessori school, so they have lots of rules like that... She thinks it encourages tv time.

Ah. Interesting.
BTW, what exactly does your husband's job entail? I'm so intrigued!

What kind of oppressive institution is this daycare?!
