We got a LOT of those Aden and Anais blankets or the equivalent, maybe 12 in all? I though for sure I'd only end up using a couple of them and the rest would sit in the closet, but we go through them so fast! I use them for swaddling at night, a blanket during the day, i cover the changing table so don't have to switch out the covers as often since I only have two, they clean a lot of spit up, I have a couple in the different places I nurse, etc. I am actually tempted to buy more.
LO is a weird baby, he doesn't like being rocked. He is most likely to sleep while I'm sitting still with him in my arms, so right now the MamaRoo is going to waste. Maybe he'll like it when he gets a little older?
Totally agree about the A&A blankets! We got a set for DS1 and used them all the time (he actually still sleeps with them) so we made sure to get a set for DS2. We use them for everything!
He likes the Mamaroo, but we also bought a Fisher Price Infant to Toddler rocker that has been super useful. It's lightweight so I can move it from room to room easily.
He hasn't been a big fan of the k'tan yet, but I'm hoping that he'll be more into it once he's a little bigger and can put his legs out. He doesn't seem to like being cooped up.

Her mamaroo has been totally worth it now that I know she wants it on the fastest setting. I'm so happy because that was definitely a purchase for me more than her. Haha
We've also been loving the AA blankets! I would love to get more. The Rock n Plays are what they're sleeping in in our room, so they get a lot of use. Downstairs, the swing and bouncer are musts. What had been most useful have been our flat cloth diapers. We're still using up disposables that we were gifted, but the flats have been perfect for changing pad covers and burp cloths for the time being.

I agree with the A&A blankets. We also love our boppy pillow. We were gift an angel touch movement monitor and it has been really great for peace of mind.
LO hates hates hates the swaddle sacks. I returned all the ones we didn't open.
We were given a swing by my SIL but she doesn't seem to care for it. Maybe when she's older.
The AA blankets for sure. DS1 still sleeps with his nightly at age 4. The swaddle pod/ swaddle me with Velcro makes swaddling secure and easy. The napper that came with our pack n play provides a great place to hold him and move all over the house. Boppy works really well for me The boba wrap and we will move into the ergo that we love too. And pampers swaddlers diapers have been the best for us too. Oh and the AA burp cloths are our fave.
Oh! I forgot to mention the best $10 I've ever spent. I ordered this from a local mom, and it has seriously worked wonders! So far even the door to door salespeople have heeded the sign!
I'm using the A&A blankets a lot more than I did with DS. I bought a new set because DS suddenly decided he was attached to his pack of 4 in the past few months, haha. I've been using them a ton-nursing cover, blanket, burp cloth, etc.
Rock N' Play-still love it!
I REALLY want to love the k'tan but not so much, maybe when she gets a little bigger I'll like it more.
I just started using our ring sling and I *Hope* and think i'm going to end up being a big fan! I'm going to try out wearing it in to church tonight and see!
Halo bassinest. I love it. Dd sleeps great in it (flat!), i love that she's in arms reach and that it takes up so much less space than our pack n play that we used with dd1. (I also love that I got it from a friend for only $90).
The mamaroo has been great. The moby wrap works great for DH but she hates it on me. We also have a (recalled) nap nanny that I love. It's so handy - and we use it safely! Oh, and I will sing the praises of the miracle blanket all day.
Not used: everything in her nursery. Boppy. I loved the boppy with dd1, but it's super annoying this time around. I'm actually using the snoogie thing from sleeping when pregnant. It's awesome wrapped around my arm chair and gives the best angles/height for me.
I still love the pack n play. That thing is so versatile for sleep and diaper changing. I also really love Halo swaddle sacks and Tommee Tippee bottles. If any of y'all start giving formula at some point I need to share one new thing that I bought this time that is awesome for taking formula on the go with TT bottles.
I agree as well about the A&A blankets. DD1 still uses hers still so I bought new ones for DD2. We also got a mamaroo this time and until today I felt like it was a waste of money. I did get it used at least. DD1 would have loved it since she liked constant movement but Nora doesn't care too much for movement or even being patted. Today however she loved being in it. carolinaheart I have not tried it on higher settings so maybe that would make a difference. She prefers the tree swing over the others though. I did figure that out. The ergo is one of my favorite baby items too. It's my favorite carrier by far!

I don't have much to add here, but my days would be a lot harder without the Brest Friend nursing pillow, RNP, Swaddleme at night, A&A swaddles, and Solly baby wrap. Oh, and the nipple shield.
Everything else is just gravy. Or in my way. I wish I could add a paci to fhis list!

For me the number one is my breast friend pillow. The best thing for nursing. Also the rock and play- we use it all the time specially when we are having dinner at the table. A carrier - I'm using the infantino wrap carrier and love it . Super easy to put on. The one thing I would love is that I would be able to nurse with it on. I know it's possible to do with sling carriers.
The pack and play with th newborn sleeper seat. That's where DS sleeps.
The Aiden & Anais swaddlers. It's muslin cloth super easy to put on. I thought it was great. And this is not really a newborn thing but cabbage leaves for my boobs. It's awesome!

I'm adding something else... White noise machine! Was a life saver last night with all the 4th of July fireworks going off in my neighborhood. Baby was a bit unsettled but the dog was seriously outta control and I had already given her the doggy Xanax! Poor doggy was shaking and so scared. White noise machine and our dark room was the ticket for both!

We've been traveling with baby a lot recently so I can tell you exactly what we use every day (and pack in the car):
Car seat Ring sling Rock'n'play A&A blankets Spit cloths Mam pacis City mini stroller (only sometimes, if large amounts of city walking are expected) Pump and supplies Playtex bottles with drop-in liners Diapers, wipes, Desitin Clothes
At home we use our pack'n'play with attached changing pad and newborn napper.
Pretty much everything else is totally superfluous.
