I did 3 loads of laundry and kept DS from finger painting everything in sight. I'm counting that as a good day. It's raining here, which may mean no fireworks tonight.
It's over 100 degrees here every day this week. And the humidity is ridiculous. I was determined to not complain about the heat when I moved to Columbia because I was constantly complaining about the cold and snow in the winter in WV, but I can't breathe. It would be easier to tolerate if there was a beach nearby.
Maybe I just being dramatic. I'm tired and cranky because I didn't get off work until nearly midnight last night and had to be back in at 7am. I'm already ready for this week to be over.
tuscanlatte how's the first day back going? Did you get the money for daycare figured out?
Yup I ended up borrowing money from my parents because the government stopped my maternity pay way too early and now it's a process to get it back. Boo. But I at least got it figured out!
And my first day has been busy!! Apparently coworker has done eff all since I left and now everyone knows I've done all the work. So that's good for me.
OMG, both kids are napping at the same time! What is going on? And load of laundry folded and put away and hung a cabinet. Time for a glass of wine and Gilmore girls, H also left an hour ago for Hilton head.
@janetheconquerer go to parenting and read the blind reveals thread. It's celebrity gossip. I'm not one to really follow anything celebrity, but those threads entertain me so.
M was fighting nap so hard, like slapping my face,v pulling my glasses off, ripping my hair out. I put him in the crib, gave H the monitor and am hiding in the bathroom.
tuscanlatte so great that your first day back is going well. Sorry about your co-worker though. Were you doing any overlap with the old guy who replaced you as you transition back? I remember a while back you commenting on that guy ripping apart your work.
I hope your LO's have a good day at DC. What did you end up deciding to do with them while you wait for the other program? I bet everyone will sleep good tonight!

I'm watching Castaway. And attempting to get DS2 down for a nap.
A fourth time.
C was fighting his too. I stuck him in his walker that he doesn't walk in and waited 10 minutes. Looked over and he was face down asleep. Then transferred.

DS1 was refusing. Every time I transferred him because DS1 was screaming about something DS2 would wake up and start screaming.

DS1 may have had another seizure. I fact the ore I think about it the more I convince myself that it was. I just hate that these absence ones can look so normal.
He woke up from nap and started tantruming, probably overtired. H was trying to help him get his suit on so he could go in the kiddie pool outside. He left him and after awhile it was silent. We thought maybe he feel asleep. I went to check on him and he was laying on his stomach on his bed, his suit was at his ankles, the only thing moving were his eyes plus he was blinking. When I walked into his room I thought he had fallen asleep by the way he looked. Then I saw his eyes were open. I couldn't tell if he was ignoring me or what. I went and got my phone to record but the damn thing had full storage. Everyone came in the room with me because I told them that it might be happening and that's when he rolled over. Then threw a tantrum for another 45 min. He's been tantruming and crying on and off since.
