We're in recovery mode over here. A certain little munchkin had too much fun and attention over here. Despite the current grandparent hangover, the long weekend was wonderful and I hope everyone enjoyed the holiday!
It's rainy and swampy so I was hoping to hide inside with the AC (the first real time we've run it this summer!) but we're out of coffee. Eeeeeek! I managed to shake enough out of the can for a semi-weak pot but looks like we'll definitely have to venture out in the grossness.
Good morning! We had a good weekend over here. DH and I went to a wedding on Saturday and yesterday we took DD to a kids activity in the park for forth of July.
The only downside is that I've been super exhausted lately. I have little motivation to do anything productive. I've also woken up starving the past two nights at 3:30 in the morning and have had to get a snack before I can fall back asleep. Annoying and not helping with the exhaustion.
Back at work for the start of a very busy four-day work week. Such a busy weekend at our house, but we had a lot of help from my in-laws. Sad to see them go leave this morning. We have to go back to parenting our own toddler. Rough.

I have a 3 day work week, since I have Friday off to go to a wedding. Of course the week will drag anyway.
I am exhausted, I think I got maybe 5 hours of sleep at the most. I was so uncomfortable and everything kept hurting as I tried to fall asleep. It was awful. Of course my alarm went off at 7 ruining a dream with Ryan Gosling in it. Sigh
I have to run to Target after work too. I can't wait to head back into bed tonight.

Morning ladies! We had a great weekend at home just us three. I'm back at work today (why?) but it's only a 2 day work week as we're doing a long weekend in Wisconsin for a family wedding. I have zero motivation and I'm starving already.
Also, I'm putting you ladies on notice. I'm starting HDBD tomorrow so get those bump pics ready!
Good morning ladies. I feel like it's been a while. We were on vacation last week and DD had a sick, throwing up day Thursday. Well I thought things might be looking up for me but then on the 11 hour drive home I had a terrible day. I can't tell you how many times we stopped to throw up, a couple times on the interstate, out the window. I'm on the mend now, just nibbling on pretzels and Popsicles, and trying to decide if Saturday was pregnancy related or bug related. My husband is off tonight so he wants to mow the lawn but I really just want him here all day to help with DD. It's been a rough start to the week.

meeggaannw, I'm sorry your DD was sick and you had such a rough trip home. FX it was just your DD's bug and you're on the upswing. You deserve a break! Hang in there. I hope your H gets the grass cut quickly so you can rest up today.
I'm at the caboose, so I'll just be in the hdbd thread loving everyone's pictures. Crazy to think some of you are at that point already!
Also on the caboose, but I am starting to grow around the middle, but only enough so I notice. I measured myself monthly before pregnancy, so decided to measure yesterday, all measurements the same but waist is up an inch. Amazing since I'm down a few lbs still from food aversions. Still not ready to spill the beans til after 1st tri, so hopefully it's only noticeable to me and not the several hundred people I deal with on a weekly basis.
Also had a great day yesterday at my dads. Unfortunately even though I told step mom to remind dad to keep his mouth shut (very difficult when there's alcohol involved), he still "accidentally" said something in front of the next door neighbor. I've been friends with his daughters since we were born and I told him I still haven't told them yet so please try to be more quiet than my dad was. He said don't worry, secrets safe, so we'll see.
Back to work here too, thank god for only 4 days. I didn't participate in my previous bmb so hdbd is going to be new for me, but I'll try and manage a pic bc I'm def rocking a little bit of a bump.

meeggaannw, sorry about your DD and your trip home. Glad to hear you are feeling a bit better.
DS and I are out having lunch. I am definitely getting increasingly emotional. He was just eating his pizza, minding his own business, noticed me looking at him, and smiled at me. I teared up. Oh boy this is going to be a long six months.

I hear you on the increase in emotion heybulldog56! Sunday night DD hit the neighbor girl in the face with a plastic bat while we were having a cookout together. She started bawling because she felt so bad for hurting her friend and I teared up too. It was embarrassing to cry because my kid was crying.

heybulldog56, holy emotions batman, I feel you on this!
I'm annoyed to be at work today, it is a company holiday, however yay finance/accounting so we need to get journal entries in and they will grudgingly grant us a flex day in the future. grr.
Went to a wedding this weekend, first one I've cried at besides my own. Damn hormones, but we weren't telling anyone yet, so lots of suspicious side eye. Oh, and 200 guests with no seating chart, wedding started at 5, no dinner until 8:30 (NOT mentioned anywhere). It was a close one.
DH decided to tell his parents yesterday, they were super excited, FIL tried to tell us Dale was a good girls name, and MIL miscounted her grandkids. She only has 3. Babies seem to make everyone a little crazy.
We find out our DNA results this week, I really don't want to tell anyone the sex, I'm already over hearing all the anecdotes. I'm going to tell people tests were inconclusive.

My DS started preschool yesterday! I need to be cleaning my house today while he's out. But instead I'm sitting in the recliner watching Orange is the New Black and hoping for a cat nap.
My boyfriend thinks we should sell our house and buy something bigger / closer to family. So a realtor us coming to appraise our house tonight. But do not want to clean. ... or move
MissDemeanor, moving while pregnant just does not seem like a good idea, but I do understand bigger/close to family. Suddenly our 3 BR bi-level just doesn't seem like enough space for us plus baby. I mean, all the rooms are full, we don't have enough closets, and I don't really want to lose my home office or guest room. But I love our house and I think I'd rather build an addition (some day) than move again. I'd also rather rip out all of my hair and shave my legs with a dull razor than move again too.
meeggaannw I'm sorry you're having such a tough pregnancy. Was it like this with your first as well? Sorry if you've already said.
Unfortunately yeah it was. It lasted pretty much the entire pregnancy. I saw some relief from 18-22 weeks but then it got bad again. Hoping that isn't the case this time.

MissDemeanor, I moved while 8 months pregnant. It was unpleasant but we received A LOT of help since I was pretty useless. My mom was unpacking everything while I napped on a bare mattress in our bedroom.

So Friday is the wedding we are attending, the church ceremony is at 3 and there is no AC in the church. It's supposed to be in the 90's on Friday. I keep finding more and more reasons to not want to go to this wedding. Now I have to worry about passing out, yay!

Does the invitation give any indication whether it will be a full mass or just a ceremony? If just a ceremony it should be bearable. If a full mass, I would honestly just show up to the reception. No one will notice you weren't at the ceremony unless you are a) in the party or b) super super close to the bride or groom.
