I have eaten almost half a tub of cookies and cream ice cream since last night. It's not a pint either. #firstpregnancycraving I guess it beats aversions.
So Friday is the wedding we are attending, the church ceremony is at 3 and there is no AC in the church. It's supposed to be in the 90's on Friday. I keep finding more and more reasons to not want to go to this wedding. Now I have to worry about passing out, yay!

pibblemom, meeggaannw, it's H's cousin's wedding, and H's is one of two cousins besides his sister on that side of the family. So it would be noticed if we were missed. I am going to ask H tonight if it's a full mass or just a ceremony. It's H's uncle's church and he is the pastor too.
peaseblossom55 are you driving there? Could you show up so people see you but sit near the back so if its unbearably hot as predicted you could just pop into your car and run the AC? Then pop back into the church towards end.
The heat definitely exacerbates all the awful pregnancy symptoms. I hope you can figure out a solution!

Yes we are driving there so I may pop in and out of the car. I just worry about being pregnant dealing with the heat, if I knew it was a brief 10 minute thing I'd be fine. I worry if it's a full mass.
Back from the family reunion and grandpas funeral. It was nice, family all got along really well. I didn't even get so many of the "don't you guys know where babies come from yet?" *funny* comments. It was very good
heybulldog56 I'm there with the overactive emotions. OMG I can't remember exactly what had me ugly crying the other day but it was small and not pretty.
peaseblossom55 I would also just hit up the reception. Truly, no one would even know.
pibblemom I would not say no to a tub of ice cream right now. Also, how's your mom?
@misdemeanor I moved while pregnant. So not fun.
jrun2013 I've woken thirsty before but never hungry! You must have a crazy fast metabolism!
summergirl1211 yay hdbd! I'm not sure if I'll participate yet, I'm still mostly flubber lol
ashtog, thanks for asking. She was transferred to a psych facility yesterday, and while she seems like the least necessary of the people in there (from what I've heard just from speaking on the phone), she needed to be there. The caseworker said they're working diagnosis is bipolar disorder, and I'm so, so happy that she will finally be getting treatment for it. Assuming she keeps up on the meds once they get them right, it will make life much more bearable for all of us.
Totally separate topic, I need to whine. Food shopping was a special kind of hell tonight. I thought I was past the nagging, constant nausea, but apparently I was wrong. EVERYTHING made me want to gag. I must've been walking around with quite a face on, but I was just trying to make it through the store. I got the essentials and got out. I'll try again tomorrow I guess.

I'm so glad to hear that! I hope that she really gets the help she needs and that the meds make her able to be her best self, and a great mother and grandmother. ((Hugs)) you are doing so great.
Ugh yeah the nausea has definitely pulled that on me too. So not fun.

ashtog, I'm sorry about your grandfather. With it being a small family wedding we would be noticeably missed. I'm still trying to convince H to skip the ceremony.

Oh yeah if it's small they would definitely notice could you bring like one of those little pocket fans?
