Week/Team/Fruit: 16/??/avocado
Symptoms: still very tired, boobs are randomly still super sore
Appointments This week: Regular OB appt tomorrow. I'm nervous they'll have a hard time finding the heartbeat again (baby was hiding last time and they ended up having to use the ultrasound to find the little rascal). I'm also rather perturbed at the high risk group she's been sending me too, so I'm hoping she will hear me out and let me scale back or completely stop appts with them
Rants/Raves/Questions: The high risk group I mentioned above left me in a waiting room for FORTY FIVE minutes last week waiting on a NP that I didn't even have an appt scheduled with but the dumb-butt nutritionist didn't look at the schedule before she shoved me in a waiting room. I was so furious when she came back in and told me that I didn't say anything and just walked out. I'm going to get their office manager's name and email address and spell out all the issues I have and have had with their office and let them have it. I know more about how to treat my medical condition than they do, and I'm not even medically trained.
GTKY: What was your all-time favorite vacation/place visited? This is a tie. I LOVE Disney World...enough that I'm going when I'm 6 months pregnant because I didn't want to postpone our trip. I also love St Thomas- that's where DH and I spent our honeymoon and we try to go back every 5 years.
Week/Team/Fruit: 17 weeks - team GREEN - white onion lol
Symptoms: Sore breasts and VERY tender nipples... overall feeling of "blah"...
Appointments This week: None until the 22nd - which is our anatomy scan! (although we are staying team green)
Rants/Raves/Questions: Before having a baby, our dogs were our world... we have a yorkie & an english mastiff (yes, quite the mix)... well, I have been annoyed w/ both of them since G was born. I can't stand the shedding that our mastiff does, and our yorkie barks at everything lately. If it was up to me, they'd both get the boot (okay, maybe not) but seriously... they drive me NUTS. Whoever thought having a baby and a dog would be cute was bonkers.
GTKY: What was your all-time favorite vacation/place visited? I've always wanted to go to Italy... maybe someday.

tbonequeen13, keep us posted about your appointment! mrsp121308,I just started noticing the RLP when I sneeze too. It's weird. hmr11913, I'm ready to give my dog the boot and the babies aren't even here yet! She goes crazy and barks at everything. I keep telling MH that I'm going to flip out when she starts barking and babies are sleeping. I ordered a bark collar on Amazon, but I haven't had the heart to put it on yet. I think I might be close. @kc295905, when will you decide about the job? Also, I went to Playa Mujeres on my honeymoon too! Loved it!
Week/Team/Fruit: 18/finding out/Sweet potatoes
Symptoms: Tired, feeling blah.
Appointments This week: Anatomy scan Friday!!!
Rants/Raves/Questions: I just want this week to go by fast.
GTKY: What was your all-time favorite vacation/place visited? I loved my playa mujeres honeymoon and I also took a trip to Greece/Italy before I met MH and it was amazing. I really want to go back.
requiressnacks, We bought a bark collar for our little dog after I almost went bat shit crazy being w/ them for 12 weeks while on maternity leave, and yes... barking while having a sleeping baby is THE.WORST! We put the collar on him as he barks like a mad man when anyone pulls in our driveway, including DH who he knows the vehicle for.. and he won't stop barking UNTIL DH is in the house. Talk about driving me bonkers. Well, I put it on him right before I knew DH was coming home and so first if he barks twice within a certain time period (i'm assuming seconds) then it will give a tone, then if he does it again it will give a vibrate, then if he does it a 3rd time it will give a shock... well, the little baby was so scared when it even toned that he was whining, so then it shocked him and then he whined again so I had to take it off quickly as I felt like it was going to keep zapping him. I haven't had the heart to try it again, but man, some days I could just give him a boot across the room LOL. I feel bad since they just want attention and want to please us, but, they are really trying on my patience.

Week/Team/Fruit: 16/Avocado/Blue
Symptoms: NA
Appointments This week: None
Rants/Raves/Questions: SUMMER CAN BE DONE NOW, PLS. I'm over being so hot and sweaty and heavier than usual. GAH.
GTKY: What was your all-time favorite vacation/place visited? We used to go to NYC every year and stay in Manhattan. That was always fun. SO many things to see and do.
IVF+ICSI March 2016 (6R/5M/5F - 3 embryos on ice) 4/7/16: first ever BFP! EDD: 12/17/16 DS Arrived via C-Section 12/19/16! FET #1 June 2019 - 1 embryo didn't survive thaw & the one that did didn't stick around. BFN FET #2 September 2019 - last embryo didn't survive thaw.
requiressnacks I'd like to make a decision today or tomorrow! I pretty much have decided, I just need to decline the other offer and iron out the details.
Where did you stay at in playa mujeres?? We stayed at the beloved hotel. I want to go back!
We stayed at Excellence Playa Mujeres - right up the street! We had such a great time. Can't wait to go back! I really hope we make it there for our 5 year anniversary....if not sooner.

Rants/Raves/Questions: Sorry I've been MIA. Did you know being audited isn't any fun? Especially when it is your accountant that made a mistake. Since this is the second time we've been audited due to this accountants error we needed to find a new one to help us get everything straightened out. Hopefully everything will be fixed soon. Of course all of this went down during the middle of an intensive grade course I was taking. Hmm...how I wish I could drink some wine right now!
GTKY: What was your all-time favorite vacation/place visited? Portugal has been my favorite country that I've visited so far.
Symptoms: Finally starting to feel better over all. I haven't thrown up in a week so that is particularly awesome.
Appointments This week: Ob appointment on Thursday.
Rants/Raves/Questions: I knew MIL would become crazy when we told her. She call Dh every dang day now. We have spent the last few years really trying to get her to understand boundaries and this has taken us back to the beginning.
GTKY: What was your all-time favorite vacation/place visited? Disneyworld is always amazing, can't go wrong there.
requiressnacks, ours is on Tuesday, this next week is going to drag! I'm so jealous yours is Friday. We are waiting to announce on FB until after we know what they are and they they are both healthy.

Me too! I am so hesitant to say anything on FB. Although, if you see me IRL, it's quite obvious I am pregnant. Haha
Week/Team/Fruit: 16/PINK!/A dill pickle (which is confusing, since I've seen pickles of many sizes)
Symptoms: Baby kicks!!!
Appointments This week: OB appointment super early tomorrow morning
Rants/Raves/Questions: I am adoring feeling the baby move, and knowing for sure that's what it is
GTKY: What was your all-time favorite vacation/place visited? As a family, water park hotels are my favorite. Especially since they serve alcohol. Pre-kids, Bermuda was probably the most interesting place I'd been.
tbonequeen13 I’m sorry your MFM’s office is being annoying. So often the doctors are good/great but their offices are so disorganized. @kc295905 canker sores are the absolute worst! requiressnacksmrsp121308 good luck on Friday! lastnamewithheld you could definitely do NYC with a baby carrier next year Becca so sorry about the audit. that is so stressful. time to get a new accountant? @cahistoryteacher good luck on Thursday! sorry about the overbearing MIL. Lucy good luck tomorrow!
Week/Team/Fruit: 15/pink/avocado
Symptoms: headaches! exhaustion! heartburn! I thought 2nd tri was supposed to be all great and stuff?! The last few days I feel like I’ve been hit by a mack truck. Everything hurts. And the hormone headaches…no fun and Tylenol doesn’t touch them. Also, I am definitely showing now! When did that happen?
Appointments This week: Nothing until the end of the month. I had an appointment last week and everything looked good, though I realized after the appointment that OB didn’t measure the baby. Do your OBs measure at every u/s? She also had a really tough time getting a measurement on the heartbeat because baby was moving around so much!
Rants/Raves/Questions: Anyone else getting awful 2nd tri headaches? Any remedies or recommendations for dealing with them?
GTKY: What was your all-time favorite vacation/place visited? Big Sur and the south of France.
emilie, sorry about the headaches! The only thing that has helped me is lots of water, Tylenol and naps. I hope yours improve soon. Where in the south of France have you gone? We are debating heading there for our "babymoon".

appt went pretty good! Baby was hiding from the doppler again so after 20 mins of hunting, they had to break out the ultrasound again. I like the reassurance, but I hate the 20 mins of limbo....also, OB was great about addressing my concerns with the high risk group..she is going to let me suspend my appts with them and monitor my sugars herself unless they start getting hard to control or I have any issues she feels they need to handle.

Provence and the Rhone Valley. Both amazing. Though I personally would wait to go back until I could drink wine and eat raw milk cheese again... I had some of the best of both that I've ever tried there!

**Walks in looking deathly and tearful...** I haven't been able to get anything to connect to this board for almost 24 hours, server was down...It might of effected me a lil.
Week/Team/Fruit: 15w 4d, Orange or avocado, Team we think boy!
Symptoms: Well right now we are in a really happy place...except for last week I had some horrible nausea that lasted for three days straight. I couldn't keep anything down. I thought I was going to die. As of right now not much. Heartburn and super sore breast are just the norm. I actually am now back in my maternity bra...crazy.
Appointments this week: Have an alternative US appointment to verify my US tech suspicions of a boy. It probably does not help that I freaking having been call lil squish "he" and by the name we have already choosen. My next appt is the 25th I believe...have to check that.
Rants/Raves/Question: I don't really have any of these except...OH YES!!! SOOOO I was driving back to our house in Michigan from Buffalo and I had a uncomfortable feeling in in the top of my tummy..so I pushed on something hard and it moved and came back...and I did it again. Pretty sure lil bit and I had our first move out the way your hurting mommy moment. So that's pretty exciting.
GTKY: What was your all-time favorite vacation/place visited? FIJI and Aruba...but China is also up there. Fiji was like untouched paradise...sigh. Aruba was just amazing soo much I have been 3 times in my life in like 3 years..lol. THIS WAS ALL PRIOR TO CHILDREN!! Of course. I will get back once the lil ones are bigger and well I saved for a nanny to go too. lol.
hmr11913, YES!! WITH THE DOGS! We have two a American Pitbull mix and a Sheppard, Pumpernickel and Rye. So Pumpernickel, American bulldog mix, I love her and she is such a good dog and I have contemplated just keeping her. Rye, our sheppard, sigh...her hair and she barks all the time. The dogs are a lot to clean up after in their area. I want them to be indoor dogs but my sheppard is on meds for bladder issues so she leaks. We had both before DD. DD loves her dogs but we just don't get a lot of time with them due to up keep to have them in the house. I am really on the fence of going down to one..pumpernickel our first dog..our first baby. Since she would be a great in house dog. I feel like a butthole since it would send Rye away alone. ALSO YES the boobs...dear lord so sore.
@kc295905, I must of missed the job decision! I hope that its something you want to do. Good luck on whatever you choose.
tbonequeen13, Count me in for Disney world!! I want to go to an amusement park so dang bad. But I know I just want rollercoasters. TOTALLY jeally of your trip. I am sorry that the dr visit didn't go as planned. I have had the same damn hiccups with my Dr. office..go in for 9 am appt and F'ing wait till 10:00 to talk to a Dr. WHY AM I HERE? Can I charge you for my time wasted..cause if I am 15 mins late you will reschedule me.
Becca, so Stressful ugh. I am sorry hopefully things get sorted out!
requiressnacks, Oh I am dying to know what you got in that oven. I can't wait for tomorrow to hear the news. I am jeally of your trip to Greece...sigh. One day...
@cahistoryteacher, Hey Labor buddy! Yah for no nausea!! I am sorry MIL is not a good boundaries person...my mom wasn't till we had a falling out over a comment she made to DH and then well she learned where she stood. I hope things calm down a lil. OHH and good luck on your appt today!
Lucy, OHH Bermuda nice. That's on my list when my kids are old enough to go or well they will be with the grandparents for a week or two. I have been feeling baby as well and its really a great thing! It makes it so real.
emilie, I don't know if this is what is going on with you but my headaches are usually one or two things! Dehydrated or too much of something. So I would try if you can uping the water just to see if it helps in the mean time take a regular strength Tylenol (325mg) just to take the edge off. OR maybe are you eating something that your body might be reacting. So Coffee and sugar are no no's when I am preggers. I get the worst headaches from over abundance of sugar or coffee. I mean like I can eat a piece of candy or a small bowl of frosted flakes. But add in like a couple pieces of candy or a large bowl of frosted flakes and toast with jam or something like that..forget it. Oh and I almost forgot...Aspartame, can't do it...do you drink diet cokes or eat stuff that doesn't use sugar but uses artificial sweetners...its worth a try taking those out to see if they help. I hope things get better.
mrsp121308, I have not made it to Jamaica ugh my list gets longer and longer... HEy one more day to your appt!!
lastnamewithheld, AND last but not least...you. lol. It took me five minutes to find your post. Anywho...NY is totally doable if you were the lil man. Well if DH wears him depending when and what kind of pregnancy you had. Where do you live, yep I just got personal, I am so happy not to be in VA anymore so hot and humid...MI is really nice no humidity and its just been beautiful..but I haven't experienced an actual winter...eeek.
Week/Team/Fruit: 17!/Finding out/Creme brûlée or turnip
Symptoms: Mostly good, except I'm also getting those terrible headaches. I think it's a combination of things, but Tylenol and allergy medication helps a little bit.
Appointments This week: Nope, anatomy scan July 18.
Rants/Raves/Questions: How are y'all sleeping comfortably? I don't think I'm doing the snoogle right.
GTKY: What was your all-time favorite vacation/place visited? Spain was a dream. I'd go back tomorrow.
Week/Team/Fruit: 17!/Finding out/Creme brûlée or turnip *snip*
Rants/Raves/Questions: How are y'all sleeping comfortably? I don't think I'm doing the snoogle right.
I liked the Back to Back position. But I also used a couple more regular pillows. One for my tummy and another between my legs. Atm I am only using the 2 reg pillows as described. Once I get ds out of my bed the snoogle comes out. Hope you've found a comfy position!
I'm still having that stupid can't-breathe-panic-if-I-roll-onto-my-back thing. I fall asleep on my side because I am usually a side sleeper anyway, but wake up on my back gasping for breath. I thought it was too soon for this to happen, because I remember it happening when I was a lot further along with my DD. My Dr assured me that it's the same issue as with DD -- compressing that vein, and it's not super weird that it's happening so soon since this is my 3rd pregnancy. So I guess crappy sleep is just a thing now.
