Intro / Late O after CP? (loss & child mentioned)

Hi everyone, I usually hang out in GKU but hope this is the right place to ask this question. I had a CP last month (2nd cycle PP..still nursing 11 1/2 month old DD), and began bleeding at about 4w3d. I'm now on CD20 and haven't O'd. I've been using Wondfos and CB since CD8+/- and have seen them get darker (never positive) then lighter a couple times now. Before DD I was pretty regularly O'ing CD 13-14 with 29+/- day cycles, and O'd last month CD18 (1st cycle tracking since DD). I know it's still a bit early, but I feel like all I read online is about women who O'd right on time after a CP as if nothing ever happened.

Is it normal to O late (or not at all?) after a CP? When should I worry? Thank you in advance!!

I'm sorry for your loss.

I'm fairly certain that while nursing your O pattern/cycle can be all over the place. Also a CP can mess with it too.

Sorry I don't have a ton of advice, but FX for things to work out!

A CP can throw off your cycle and mess with your O.

Did you have your beta checked and tracked to zero? If not, I would call your OB and ask to have it checked.

I'm sorry for your loss. I second Bug's advise and say I would have your betas checked.

A CP can throw off your cycle. With each one of my early losses, my entire cycle changed.

A CP can change everything. And I third the question about betas.

Thank you everyone for the wonderful responses! The Dr didn't seem too concerned b/c everything else seemed OK and it was my first loss...so she didn't check my betas but I will call and ask about that! I had been POAS daily and watched the lines get lighter then disappear and the digital go from "1-2 weeks" to "not pregnant", so she advised to just continue on as normal.


I was wondering about nursing also affecting my cycle..I was hopeful when my 1st 2 PP cycles were relatively stable that it would continue.
