My SIL is pregnant with Bud's first cousin, yay!, and I'm hosting a mixed-gender baby shower for her next month. Small party--only about 12 people.
Did any of you have mixed-gender showers? I'm not going to force anyone to play cutesy games, although I think having a table to decorate onesies would be fun. There may be some littles attending.
When the men in my family were at a mixed wedding shower a few years ago, they were really uncomfortable (but went out of love for this cousin) and were kind of forced into being there for the part that made them most uncomfortable: opening gifts.
I know some of the men invited but not all. So tell me, how would you entertain this crowd besides offering food, and how can I accommodate anyone uncomfortable about watching the gift opening while keeping them from feeling forced to be there or without having them go missing?
Of course, I'll take any general thoughts gleaned from your shower experiences as well!

I'm not much help on the stuff for men specifically but I went to a shower where they had pages with a letter of the alphabet on each. You picked once and drew a picture of something for that letter to make a book.

Very sweet. I think that might be too much pressure for this small crowd, but will keep in mind for someone else's shower down the line!
