I'm up early. DH has started to go for a run in the mornings, and while I applaud his initiative to get in shape, he sits on the corner of the bed to put his socks and shoes on and wiggles so much I essentially wake up feeling like I'm in an earthquake every morning.
We have our house cleaners coming today. My house will be spotless for about 2.5 seconds... before DH and DD get home. I like when they come since it forces me to get my act together and actually put away the mounds of clean laundry I have sitting on my dresser...
It's WHF and summer hours for me today too! But I'm running to the grocery store right now and wont log in til 7:30, so I:ll probably work til at least 2. Boooo

We are on hiatus from our cleaning ladies to save some cash. I miss them so much. Enjoy your clean homes! I am going to continue ignoring the dust. DH and I are on our way back to the hospital to meet with genetic counselor. My mil came over to stay with DS. He was so upset when I walked out the door. Ugh, hurts my heart every time.

We are leaving in a few minutes to head up for this wedding. I told H we may need to stop at DD so I can get some munchkins. I've got a ton of snacks packed for the car ride too. It's already disguisting and hot outside. I felt so nausea this morning for the first time in awhile. Yuck.
It's raining here so I have to find something to do with my crazy toddler, why is this a problem in July? Also my husband is working from home today, which I love because he doesn't have to commute but it always weird to not actually be alone during the day. I'm also loving all these house cleaners you guys have going on, that's definitely one of my goals someday.

One of DH's friend's wife posted a Facebook status today relating her black cat to the black lives matter movement because she has to fear for his life everyday due to the stigma associated with being a black cat. She literally ended the post with #blacklivesmatter #blackcatsmatter.
She is so lucky we never became Facebook friends. I literally can't when it comes to her status.

Add me to the list of those who wants a house cleaner, but doesn't have one. In an effort to keep a cleaner house, I decided that my major project for the summer was to get rid of all the clutter we have. We've lived here for three years and we've accumulated so much crap. DH thought this was a great idea when I mentioned it. Fast forward to today, after I asked him to go through some random chargers last night. Him: "We can always use chargers and cables!" Me: "Well what about the rest of the stuff in this basket? I want to throw the basket away, we don't need it." Him: "What! Why do you want to throw the basket away! We can always find something to use it for." This is a crappy woven basket I bought from Target two years ago.
Hmm… I wonder why we have so much clutter.
ellabee, Have you asked your DH to get ready somewhere else? That would annoy the crap out of me too.
inomniaparatus, What!?! That's absurd and absolutely offensive to the movement. I have a cat, I love my cat, but in no world do cats equal people.
peaseblossom55, Good luck at the wedding. I hope its a short ceremony and the reception is somewhere nice and air conditioned. I feel like my FFFC could be that I was the asshole who got married outside in the middle of the afternoon in July. It was shaded, we provided cool beverages for the ceremony and it was short, but still, it was hot.
Also, if you don't mind sharing: what's the going rate for a cleaning lady?
Hi! I haven't been around at all the last couple weeks because work sucks and my sleep schedule is still all screwed up, lol. This weekend is my last long weekend working shift work, and I switch to a day schedule after the 17th. And then we fly out on August 4th! I'm gonna be spending my last two weeks here outprocessing and getting ready to move.
House is a wreck, but I don't have the motivation to clean it right now.

jrun2013, my goal this summer/ fall (probably also winter) is to declutter. My DH reacts in a similar way... But he swears the clutter is all me. I seriously justwant to walk from room to room and throw everything out.
jrun2013, I'm active duty military, and working a night shift rotation right now. They are taking me off shift since I have to be on days for outprocessing appointments.

I have no motivation at work and I really hope I get to hear baby on the doppler today. Still paranoid even though I'm still having lots of nausea and now dizzy spells. FX that I pass my 1 hour glucose screen, I really don't want to start GD protocols this early (last time I passed at 7w and failed at 28w).
I wish I had a housecleaner but my SAH hubby actually does an awesome job. Yesterday he cleaned out the fridge since it was practically empty after our trip.
I'm itching to see the photos from the wedding reception but my mom's coworker did them and the photography is a side job so she said it would probably be a week or more. No one else really got many photos since she was taking 'good' ones.

Yes! If I just throw it away, he won't notice. I would consider this, but I'd probably accidentally throw away something that actually means something to him, then I'd feel awful.

Same. Which is why I keep making piles and forcing him to sit down with me and go through it all. Takes forever!
My fridge needs to be cleaned silvermelody can I borrow your amazing husband?! Mh did clean the upstairs bathroom in preparation for our guests so I can't complain that much. But if my fridge were magically cleaned I'd be in heaven!

Feel so icky I felt great this morning until about 9:30. One leg started cramping really bad and I started getting nauseous. Now I'm nauseous and dizzy and over work. But my dad is ordering Thai food for lunch for me, my mom and himself so my lunch break should be great! Only 30 more minutes.

I really hope your pictures come out great! Our experience with that was the opposite of good. My MIL hired a friend to do pictures and he was awful to deal with and his pictures were beyond mediocre. We have never even bothered to get any printed up and this year is anniversary #6. My mom asked a friend from church to just take some candid photos of everything since he didn't feel qualified to be our official photographer and his pictures were 100x better!

Our wedding photos were amazing I loved our photographers worth every penny and we spent a lot. I may ask if he is willing to do some newborn photos even though he mostly does wedding stuff.
Add me to the "need housecleaners and to declutter" crew. I started to Konmari our house and DH was completely worthless. We started with clothing and he had about 3 times as many clothes as me because "he could still use it someday." Same with literally everything else I try to get rid of.
