kaitkat Round ligament pain sucks! Sometimes I have to walk bent over and then slowly stand up :/ Now my pubic bone and groin muscles are sore too from the stretching. Is it August yet?
I'm going to punch the next person that tells me how sleep deprived I'll be when baby is here & how I should get all the sleep right now. Sounds lovely in theory except between peeing 8+ times a night, bad acid reflux, back pain, crazy hot flashes, mega congestion ...there is hardly any sleep going on over here. I'm exhausted. I just take each day as it comes & ppl saying it will only get worse is super annoying (even if it's true)
Ugh! Ugh! Ugh!
I have a running joke with a coworker about how everyone is clairvoyant and likes to tell me my exact future. "Oh really? You know what it'll be like when I bring my kid home? THANKS. I don't have that power but I guess you're more special than me."
All I can do is generally know what to expect, but my kid will decide the rest.

This GBS convo is cracking me up--I had a checkup yesterday with a different dr in the group, and she definitely swabbed my butt (without warning). I assumed I'd just forgotten they did that with my other two, and thought about mentioning it here, but thought you all would be like, "uh, Joey? That's not how they measure for pants."

DS has not taken one single nap outside of his car seat since I finished the school year on June 15th. We cannot be done with naps at almost 2 1/2. Not fair.
DD was done with naps recently at 2 1/2 I feel your pain!
Noooooooo! He's getting way less cranky without it (as opposed to at first when he would just melt down from 3-7) so I guess that's a plus.

I wanted to kiss the woman who told me she got more sleep with newborns than in third tri. Didn't work out for me but it might for you!

My phone stopped calling people for a while yesterday. It has been 3 years so I upgraded today (instead of cleaning for MIL's visit - DD2 was a mess all day anyway). My new phone is so fast. I love it.
However, the more I hear from nurses, the more it sounds like I'll be induced at 38 weeks (mayyyybe 39). I basically have to wait for my next ultrasound in 2 weeks (37 weeks then) to find out. On the one hand, I want to be safe and do what's best. On the other - I am grappling with some of the issues that others here have brought up recently (really wanting to go into labor spontaneously, etc). On the third hand, I'm feeling ready to be done with pregnancy, so a week or two early wouldn't be so bad...

I get each and every one of those thoughts. ::hugs::

TMI WWA16D: I have been having a ton of discharge all day. Could be normal. Possibly an otherwise a asymptomatic infection? My mind of course goes to the worst. OB is closed for the weekend of course.
gratefulgirl, I was told that an increase in discharge was normal the last few weeks, especially if you've been increasing water intake. As long as it's odorless you should be fine.
LOL. My GBS swabs have all been vaginal and butt but really the dr just kind of swipes it across there and, really, if you didn't *know* what she was doing, you might not even know. I can remember back on the tri boards (before BMB's existed, haha) everyone being weirded out about the butt swab and I was prepared for it to be awkward and invasive. And it totally wasn't.

I was dry all pregnancy and have been having crazy discharge for over a week now between watery and egg white CM

Yup, this is me. Good to know. Chalk it up to another oddity of this pregnancy. It has definitely been nothing like my others.
Me (30) MH (32) Dx: MFI (low all the things) M. 10/11. TTC Since 01/14 IUI#1-3(Letrozole + Trigger) = BFN Second Opinion. Changed RE's. IVF 09/15 Long Lupron 12R/9M/8F, Transferred 1=BFN. 4 frosties. FET #1 12/15 Transferred 1 (3 still on ice)
I think I have joined the heartburn club. What OTC medication have you all been having success with? I can't keep them all straight.
I'm not having heartburn issues, but the acid reflux is awful and started about a week ago. Tums did nothing. My obgyn is fine with Zantac 75 mg twice a day and it has been working very well.

Discharge seems odorless.
I was told that discharge will increase as we get closer to delivery but a sudden dramatic increase could be a sign of cervical dilation.
