I'm looking at a woven wrap but can't decide between a hemp/cotton blend or a linen/cotton blend.
I've found a pattern I'm dying for, but they're sold out of the hemp blend which has bolder colors. I like the linen one too, just looking for experience in the material.
I've emailed the company about whether or not they can get the hemp in again. It may not matter, but just looking for opinions.
Very pretty! I'd like to try wrapping with this LO. I use(d) the kha'tan and lillebaby with my first. I think wrapping will be more versatile and comfortable!

I used the stretchy Boba wraps with DS1, but they weren't great after about 15lbs. I also want to try and get this one to like the ring sling. D HATED the ring sling.
I used the Moby a bit but mostly Ergo with DD. I'm debating a ring sling this time. Any insight on wrap vs. ring sling?? For some reason the RS just looks a little easier to me.

I have 1 RS that DS hated. I think the key is to start younger. I didn't get mine until he was about 2-3months old.
I did love my stretchy wrap for the first several weeks, but it did get hot.
I say get an inexpensive RS and see how you like it. If you don't spend a ton of money, then it's not as big of a loss. I got mine on Etsy.

A ring sling was the only thing that worked for me. It allowed me to eat a few times. I started when he was a newborn. I only used it in the house though. I gave birth in December and wasn't equipped to baby wear a newborn in the cold winter.

Pretty @cbrandt! I have a woven wrap for this baby because I'm hoping the versatility of wrapping will help us find a carry that we both like. My friend who has advised me about what to get said that the materials are largely personal preference. It sounds like you can't go wrong with either one. Mine is a cotton/linen blend which makes it a bit more breathable than just cotton.
For DS 1, I had a baby bjorn until someone talked some sense into me. This time around, we'll have a moby and RS for when she's a little squish, then I have a tula and a KP for when she gains a bit more weight.
I also have a littlefrog wrap and a Natibaby Invisibility Cloak wrap. Both sit in my closet collecting dust because I am THE WORST WRAPPER EVER unless it is FWCC.
Is it just out of stock on that one website or all over? My favorite is abbyslane.com
kerbear, I've only been able to find the Starry Night print on the one website and they're sold out of the hemp blend, which I prefer the colors of.
I've emailed and messaged the company several times and they aren't responding. So I messaged the owner of another place (where I bought the wrap yesterday, you saw it on IG I think) so I'm waiting to hear if she can get it.
I love that print cbrandt1 ! I primarily used the k'tan, ergo, and ring sling for my daughter. I'm hoping to start the ring sling during the newborn stage for this LO. I'm not familiar with using soft wraps.
If anyone is interested in purchasing a wrap or carrier from Purpleelmbaby.com, I have a 10% off coupon I can give you. It has to be used by the 24th. I just want the "refer a friend" thing .
