joi922, I've been wanting to try blue apron but H has become a stickler about grocery spending. I'm a vegetarian too. Maybe if I have a coupon code it is worth a shot. We are stuck in a food rut with no energy or creativity to escape.
shellyr I think Blue Apron looks more interesting than Hello Fresh, at least in terms of the vegetarian meals. I don't know if there will be additional coupons like on Groupon, but you get $30 off you first order just for being new. Code to redeem is on the website.
W's naps have sucked today and he us fussing hardcore. So ready to put him to bed. I'm thinking I'll feed him and put him down an hour early seeing as he missed more than an hour of naps. Also, he may be teething as he keeps wanting to bite my legs. Maybe that's where all my bruises come from!

I just un-rsvped to a wedding and I feel like a giant asshole. She's my friend but not a close one. She invited kids but not my kids. I can't find a babysitter for the life of me, and I am not willing to try someone new (a teenager) out for a 14 hour day. I have the reasons but I still feel really bad.
If I can get over my guilt, DH actually has this weekend off (so rare) and maybe it is better for us to just spend it together.

I don't know your friend, obvi, but I think it is incredibly lame to not invite kids to a wedding.

tuscanlatte, I wouldn't. That's the risk you take when you don't invite kids. We are planning on going to flakey friends wedding and have told them as much. But it would require an overnight stay and kids aren't invited. If grandparents don't want to help, we wouldn't be going.
I'm not saying people should always invite kids. Kid free weddings are cool in my book. But sometimes babysitters are plentiful.

abominationsnowman there are kids going, she just didn't invite ours. So she can't be that offended right? I do feel bad that we said yes and then no, but my babysitter went on a vacation.
