Sigh. No ball pit. We didn't leave the house. E slept until noon (nap) and then it was lunchtime. Then it was ds1 nap time. About 20 min before ds1 was due to wake up e was ready fir his second nap. He's still sleeping now
My phone rang once today. It was my mother. Calling me back. Ugh. I am really hoping the recruiter jyst hasn't spoken with them yet. I want this job. I need this job. Pleasepleaseplease
Real parenting question, how much milk is everyone's LO getting?
I've just moved DS2 to 2 cups of milk (lunch and dinner). He's will only be getting 1 or 2 bottles of milk at day care with solids for breakfast and lunch.
I'm only able to pump 1 bottle plus a half of another. I feel like DS2 is weaning a little earlier than DS1 but I honestly can't remember the specifics.
As of Monday, while at daycare Poppy gets one bottle of breastmilk and two cups of milk (plus lot of solids).
W didn't really want to eat much at dinner and then didn't nurse. He kept looking at his bedroom door (H didn't make it back in time to read to him) and it was just a super wrid bedtime. I do not have good feelings about tonight's sleep.
packmomma, I hate when I have a bad feeling of how sleeps going to be, plus it just makes it worse. I will say though, sometimes when I get the bad feeling, the baby sleeps great!!
tuscanlatte, how's the transition with being back at work going? Have you finished cleaning up the mess you walked into?
No that's going to be a huge battle into December when the contract ends! But I'm getting used to work again and the long days /pick up/ drop off and it's becoming normal now
I have managed to slither out of a few wrk trips with the justification that's there's too much office work left which is very nice for my home life!

Yeah I hope he sleeps well. It just makes me nervous to take my sleeping pill if he hasn't gotten a good feel. Meh it is what it is. Let's hope tonight doesn't suck.
H and I had an epic blowout last night because he came home from work and PT, showered, packed a bowl, and laid down on the couch. Didn't even ASK if I needed help with anything. I didn't get to sit down until after 10pm.
So that was fun.
Packed a bowl? Like smoked weed?
Hell no to the not helping. I hope you slammed some cabinets.
@janetheconquerer I made it through. I get frustrated at having to go to meetings that are a waste of my time. It was literally the same material from a meeting earlier this year. The real purpose was supposed to be because the company I work for bought another company and it was supposed to be a chance to get to know the other branches. Except that didn't happen at all.
I had a good night though. I went on a walk with M and caught some Pokemon. I was able to get M earlier and have more play time tonight.
tuscanlatte I'm glad you're getting back into the groove of work.
redandblue Pokemon really is fun. I'm not obsessive about it, but it's entertaining me now. I could totally see bonding with DS1 over, I show H what I've caught during the day, lol.
I forgot who asked about WCM, we were also told not to introduce until 1 year. I know we're close enough that it wouldn't really matter, but I'm waiting. I'm irrationally worried about getting M enough calories when he's no longer having formula. I'm ready to not have to but formula, but worried I'll starve him on accident. It seems really silly when I put it out there, but it's the truth.

Yeah, weed. He has anxiety issues and also uses it for pain management for his RA.
But I raised my voice enough to make up for any cabinets I didn't slam. Can't risk waking up the kids.

ampaints my reason to start wcm was pure laziness, I liked the idea of giving him something besides water at meal times and was to lazy to make formula. The sippy cups don't have oz on them so if have to make it in a bottle them dump it into the sippy then he'd barely drink any. But it helped to have it fuller.
I am still giving like.... 24oz of formula a day... In addition to a good amount of solid food. I guess we probably should start working on fewer bottles but I'm always so worried about her growth.

I'd follow her lead. E started eating less on his own. It started at like 10-10.5 months and was freaking me out. He'd shove the bottle out it his mouth
