Good morning guys! I am exhausted. W slept well but molly woke me up again and k woke up to phantom crying a couple times. We're going to story time at the library and hopefully he takes a nap in the car.
I went to bed early last night. DH keeps going out in the evening to work on his truck so I retire to bed around 9 by myself and fall asleep and it's amazing!! I love having the bed to myself! I feel well rested today and think I'm going to try to do it again tonight!

I called yesterday regarding a sleep study. I guess they require you meet with a sleep dr first before they actually do one. I guess a neurologist asking for one is not enough for them to just do one. That's annoying. What is interesting though Is the questionnaire I'm filling out. I guess gagging and choking must be relate to sleep or a sleep issue in some way because it's on there. Ds1 has started gagging randomly in the last month or two. Both during the day and at night. I did mention this though when this first all started and they didn't seem to think it was related. This was when they thought seizures though. Waking up with. Dry mouth or waking up thirsty is one too. He does get up 1-2 times a week at night to get a drink. Bed wetting is on there too which would be happening if he didn't wear a pull up. In fact, sometimes his pull up leaks. So I'm hoping they'll do the test and we'll get some answers

2dumbdogs, we are at 28oz still, and she eats like crazy, she must just be hungry. She is mostly trying to drop her morning bottle, but that still only brings her down to 24oz.

Last night I weighed myself and I have lost 10 pounds since the beginning of June! Not sure if it's diet or weaning or both, but I celebrated by having tacos. Hopefully I didn't undo too much progress.
Busy day ahead. I've been less than thrilled with a lot of work lately. I need to get my act together, focus on my cv and apply for some jobs this fall.

Unless you ate 10 pounds of tacos (Which I probably could do) you can't gain 10 pounds back!
th3stryck3r2dumbdogs, seriously the best feeling ever. I was so relieved when I stopped with DD, but this time just feels *so much* better because it is the last time I'll ever have to pump. EVER.
I am still giving like.... 24oz of formula a day... In addition to a good amount of solid food. I guess we probably should start working on fewer bottles but I'm always so worried about her growth.
DS drinks a lot of formula too. 24-32 oz a day in addition to a ton of food. I'm also putting off working of less per day. One day...
Well, mentally the best feeling ever. Not so much physically. At least right now.
When I weaning DS it was fine for a week. And then week 2 I got endorsed randomly. Not expecting that. Luckily it only lasted 3-4 days and no issues since. Hopefully your body figures it out ASAP.

Me too. It caught me by surprise that everything was fine until 2 weeks out and I got engorged and lumpy spots. I was worried about clogged ducts so I nursed her once on each side one last time and then it went away for good. That's so weird, it hadn't occurred to me that this was normal.

I'm still nursing at night 2x before ds goes to bed so that helps with any engorgement I get towards the end of the day. But so far I haven't had much at all. Same with DD, with both I weaned from pumping and didn't just go cold turkey so I think that helps a lot as well.
So busy at work. We have people art a meeting, so we have 3 people in our 6 person office
M looked like he might have the start of pink eye this morning, but it could be sinuses as well. Totally sent him to daycare. That might make me the asshole mom, but I really don't have time to care.

Eh, I've taken the daycare gamble more than once. She's picked up a billion viruses there too so obviously I'm not alone. I don't think you're an asshole.

I'm almost certain everyone does it, so I decided to try to stop worrying about it.

+1. She drinks 4 bottles of 6 oz each, so 24 oz a day. Plus tons of solids. Our doctor said no milk until 12 months. I don't think a couple weeks will make a difference, so we'll probably start introducing it in the next couple weeks.

I'd really like to be done cleaning bottles.
me too! I only have 3 big ones and I refuse to buy more so it's a pain.
I keep clenching my jaw from stress. It's not causing tooth pain, but it's giving me more headaches. I know I'm doing it but have no idea how to stop. Ugh.
