Morning! I stayed up too late again thanks to OITNB. Once I did fall asleep, I slept like crap. I have a lot of "to do's" today so I must power through until nap.
Same heybulldog56 except I was watching Broadchurch. I'm excited this week is here because it means I finally have another appointment. It's only a belly check but I'm excited. DS "aged out" of pre-walker circle time at the library so I think we will go see what the next stage program is all about. It doesn't hurt that the library is a Pokestop too 😉

I am exhausted I was up watching who qualified for the Olympic gymnastics team. I had an OB appointment this morning I figured I would just get to hear the heartbeats, but he brought in the portable ultrasound machine. One baby was sleeping the other was doing karate. Ugh at the next appointment in August I have to do the one hour GTT. Yuck.

Morning all! I was also up later than I wanted to be last night watching the gymnastics trials. I'm so excited for the Olympics to start that I'm eating up all the coverage I can get.
I'm irrationally nervous about my appointment this afternoon. I have absolutely no reason to be concerned but I am regardless. I have decided to tell my boss this week that I'm KU and we're going to do our official Facebook "announcement" but I really don't want to do anything until I can hear the heartbeat again.
summergirl1211 , I told my boss today because I'm already showing, so I'd rather it be said than be a rumor. He was so excited for me.
peaseblossom55, I probably would have told already because I feel the same way, but my boss is in NYC and I'm in MN. Still, I want him to know before my co-workers (who also work in other offices) see it on Facebook. I just feel like I'm jinxing myself somehow if I say something before I hear the heartbeat one more time.

I know what you mean about jinxing things, I feel every person I tell is somehow jinxing things.
Morning! I feel like the past few days have been busy and I've been super tired, so I haven't been around a whole lot.
I am really stuck on announcements. We are going to this weekend I think and we want to do something board game related, but it's tough to think of something everyone would get.
DD slept well last night, but was up at 5:55 AM and could not be convinced to go back to sleep. I actually slept well last night after having two nights where I woke up for a couple hours in the middle of the night.
NYC was super fun on Saturday! Wicked was incredible and the two main actresses were amazing.
Today DD and I went to Barnes and Noble and the mall to shop for an anniversary present for DH. DD was adorable playing at the train table. She thought it was the best idea ever to put all the trains into a lunch box. It was pretty cute to watch.
summergirl1211, we want to wait to tell everyone until after my next appointment too. I want to hear the heartbeat once after I'm out of the first trimester and then I'll figure it's as safe as it's going to be to tell anyone.

DS and I just returned home from what was supposed to be a quick shopping trip. We went to three different stores and all three had little to no rash guards. And the ones they did have were too big or too small. I didn't think I'd have a hard time finding swim gear in the middle of July. Boo. Anyways, DS just went down for nap. I am eating a sandwich and will probably also take a nap.

I think DS was a little overwhelmed by the chaos that is toddler time but it went well. We just got back from a nice walk that was a bit longer than originally planned because of....Pokemon.

Did you check Amazon?
That's my next stop. I usually go straight to Amazon but I wanted to get DS out of the house.
So I ended up not going in to see the OB, she agreed that there wasn't much they'd be able to do in the office for me. She did say that she reviewed both my scans (7w1d and 12w) with the expert radiologist from the hospital and they agreed that 1)the SCH is definitely where the bleeding was coming from and 2) the size and shape of it wasn't a concern and wouldn't raise my risk of issues/complications/mc. ::Phew:: The bleeding has tapered off and turned brownish, so I'm hoping that that was it and I'll be good from here on out... I do have my NT on Thursday and my OB said that'd it'll be nice to just check the SCH out and see if there's anything progressing either way (bigger/smaller).
Thanks for all the hair pats and well wishes. Thanks also for your anecdote meeggaannw - it helps to know that there's at least one person out there that had the same thing happen and everything turned out okay lol.
Has anyone experienced any sort of hip pain during first tri? I have a dull pain in my right hip and it's just making me feel overall crappy today. Wondering if it's a pregnancy thing or something unrelated.
I got a comp day at work last night and I came home and slept pretty much all night. (Except for the one wake up when I brought my toddler to our room). It was glorious and I feel human today.
I have two more days of night shift left and I'm on days for outprocessing the rest of the time I'm on island.

Yes, I've been feeling it this pregnancy. It's worse if I sit down all day.

So I tend to get headaches at work when dealing with excel, I deal with excel pretty much every day. Not sure how to handle this. I probably should have brought it up this morning at my appointment, although I don't know what he would say.

I used to have this problem and my physician thought it was due to how much focus I needed when looking at the spreadsheet since my eyesight is not great. Went to the eye doctor and they suggested wearing readers when doing work on the computer and it helped a lot. Don't know that is your issue but #anecdoteforthewin #becauseIcan.
