Last night my husband asked me how big the baby was and was disappointed my app still said peppercorn. He was very cute. Tomorrow it will finally say blueberry.
And I think I can finally say I have an undeniable pregnancy symptom. I am nauseated.
Don't hate me but I never felt this with my prior pregnancies. I think I have been feeling this for a day or so, but didn't really know what to call it.
I basically feel like a need to puke or take a massive diarrhea shit.
You're welcome for that last visual.
Maybe even both! During my last pregnancy, I have a fond memory of diarrhea-ing on the toilet at the same time as barfing in the trash can. #glamorous

I have posted this elsewhere but is anyone losing a fuck ton of hair? This didn't happen with my first so it's freaking me out...though I feel like I've read that it's normal.

Oh thank goodness someone else is losing a lot. I usually shed a decent amount because I have curly hair so I only comb it on wash day. But a lot more came out than usual this past wash day. I know it's supposed to get super thick but maybe this is a prep stage.

Is anyone else's nausea slightly eased when they are in bed? After I left work yesterday, I felt a bit better once I was in bed. I can't wait for tomorrow's appointment. I'm currently laying on the floor of my office to see if this works.
I haven't seen anything on amazon prime day I can't live without, which is a good thing for my budget.
Starting to plan our weekend to the Finger Lakes region of New York with my parents and my in-laws in two weeks. Any suggestions?
I took C to a music thing at the library today and she had a blast! I got the most adorable video of her shaking a little egg shaker while laughing and smiling.
What age can you start doing those types of things with your kid? I'm already imagining going stir crazy being home with a baby all day
We have that at our library too! ugaqueencity, there are classes for kids that start around 6 months, but I found that when DD was walking it was a game changer and there was a lot more for her to do. Before that I did a lot of mall walking. I have a hard time staying home all day

ugaqueencity, there are lots of babies at our library story times, and a common mommy meet-up is the Wednesday Wiggles at our local market. There are older kids dancing, but lots of little babies in carriers just chilling out. When I was working from home I would try to change up my workspace and discovered all the mommy-and-baby activities by accident.

This. When they're super little it's more for mom's sanity anyway. I'm not sure E got a lot out of swim lessons at 6 months but I needed the adult interaction. E loved to watch others and walking really was a game changer.
I'm pretty much just super nauseous all day at this point so while I have no advice that others haven't already said I'll just lovetit everyone in commiseration.
Not much here today, it's raining so we just keep finding things to play in the house. We're doing pizza tonight because all I will have to "cook" tomorrow while my husband is at a golf event will be leftover pizza which I think I'll be able to stomach.

I thought about buying some maternity things from Prime Day, but the dress I had my eye on is only available in this bright pink color, which is not as versatile as I would've hoped.
moutonrouge, I glanced through some of the maternity stuff too but it seemed like there weren't a lot of variations in size or colors that up for Prime Day grabs.
I really only wanted the Melissa and Doug latch board for E and wasn't paying enough attention so naturally it's gone and the wait list is full.
ugaqueencity, glad you found some good deals! Gap and target were my go to for matenity last go around.
I was silly and took picks of my bloat.... I look way pregnant.
I wish I would have taken more the first time around. I always felt silly doing it but I think I'd really like to compare now. I don't remember being this bloated last time but perhaps I forgot it for a reason!
I also feel like I need a nap everyday but am wide awake at night. Usually wide awake and feeling an urgent need to pee all.the.time
daisylola11, all the luck in the world! Our daycare trains kiddos when they hit the 2-3yr old room once they show signs. I'm all about someone else doing the brunt of this work. Good luck!

That would be amazing! He'll be two in exactly a month, so I'm trying it out and if he's not ready I'll try again in a couple months. My goal is to have him trained by March 😉
