Also eff that dentist, fem! I had a hygienist tell me once that my jaw was apparently a little further back than "normal people's" and I should look into having reconstructive surgery because I'd look more attractive. 😑

Adorable pippacricket!! That's rad that you got the 3-D too!
H was not a fan of the 3D. I go "look at how cute her nose is!" and he was like "she looks like something out of a horror movie!" Oh H.
That's how MH feels about them too! Lol We did a couple elective u/s with DS1 and they said they'd show us 3-D if we want and he was a hard pass. Wimps!

cbowl and other RHofDallas watchers, was there only 1 episode for the reunion?? That's all my dvr recorded and I wanna make sure I didn't miss anything!
pippacricket, that dental hygienist sounds like a real peach.
H decided we should just have PB&J sandwiches for dinner. So we did. It was awesome.
beckyrosen, just pretend it's a bikini, maybe? I should really go try mine on, see if it fits. It had rouched sides and was extra long anyway, so it might still work for the summer. I hope so, because I bought a pool pass and intend on using it as often as possible.
Reasons my family is hilarious: A few months ago, H was trying to get an employee/friend of his from Serbia here to the states. We were joking that once he was here, my sister (close to his age and currently single) should go ahead and marry him so he could get a green card. He offered some goats for her dowry, and we "haggled" over how many goats she was worth. Told my sister all about it, we all laughed.
Like a month later I found this quiz online somehow that would tell you how many goats your dowry should be, tagged my sister in it and told her we needed her to take it so we could find out how many goats our friend would need to accrue before coming here. Turns out it's 9.
This whole joke has continued for MONTHS now. H, my brother, my sister and I all post random goat-related things to each other, or wedding related things (like a picture of a bride standing in a Taco Bell, tagging my sister as her "dream wedding"). Today I found a tumblr post about girlfriends being worth 3 potatoes and sent it to her to prove that marrying for the goats was a way better deal. She said she liked potatoes better anyway. So I told her that the goats could be sold to buy many potatoes. A friend of mine (who coincidentally raises goats) popped in and told us the average size of her goats and the average price they get for them. I did some math, figured out how much she could get for her 9 goat dowry, and converted it to the average price per potato.
My brother jumped in and said the math was solid, and that since we had real goatmathetics going on, he fully supported my recommendation that she take the goats over the potato.
I am *DYING* laughing over here. Someday we'll get tired of this, but I'm 90% certain I'll end up buying her a stuffed goat for her actual wedding, whenever that ends up being.

So about a week ago my mom mentioned that my 3 younger brothers were all in the 8-9 lb range when they were born. I was about 6 lbs but arrived a month early. Found out tonight MH and his brother were both in the 8 1/2-9 lb range.
I realize those aren't huge numbers, but considering I'm trying to go unmedicated I'm hoping baby boy doesn't get too big!

I was 8.6 and DH was 10 something. I went unmedicated at 39+5 and had a 7.2lb baby. My midwives have all said you won't grow a baby your body can't handle. Don't worry!
So, I was super happy to have gotten so much stuff done today. But I'm paying for it now. Sciatica is raging and my feet and back are sore hope sleep helps.

That was exactly what I needed to hear!! Good to know! Thanks!

My little brother was in the 8lb range (I wanna say 8lb 6oz). I don't know what my sisters and I were. But H was BIG, and always has been a BIG kid. I'm hoping he was a fluke because the rest of his family is fairly average (except his cousin, who is somewhat hobbit-like in build) and my family is fairly average (maybe a little taller than average, especially my sister and I). Hope you were able to get some sleep. Do you have a pool nearby? My OB recommended spending time in a pool, either just floating or swimming some laps to help. Takes all the pressure off everything for a little while. Save

I did get some sleep, but I can still feel it
There's a pool at my parents home, but then I have to get over there and DD will have to swim too (and it will be a fight to hey her out of the pool). I probably will head over there today anyhow, but let's see if I remember to bring the swim stuff lol.

My midwife told me exactly the same thing last time. Trust your body.
