How was your weekend?

Did you do anything exciting?  Anything interesting to share?

DD was so well behaved!  It was a nice change since she's been pretty testy lately.  But she was her wonderful little self again and I really enjoyed her.  We bought the carseat for the new baby due in July.  Other than that, the weekend was lazy, and awesome.  I relaxed a lot and enjoyed time at home with DH and DD.

My man friend was gone all weekend at a concert so I had the kiddos alone all weekend. Which went really great. They were super good and DD slept through the night both nights for the first time ever! Good lord was it awesome to wake up in my bed just me and the cat and dog

We had a really busy weekend! My best friend threw a surprise 60th birthday party for her mom on Friday night, so we went and ate way too much!
Saturday I had 2 photo shoots so DH took DD to visit his grandparents while I was taking photos. Yesterday we had my nephew's church dedication followed by lunch with DH's family and dinner with mine! I'm exhausted! Haha.

We didn't do much. DD has been deciding to go to bed early, it's a fight every night to keep her up until 7:30 because she then wants to get up the next day between 4:30-6 am. I'm totally exhausted due to not getting to sleep in ever. Saturday she let me sleep until 5:30 am. Sunday she was up at 5am so I stayed up with her for an hour and then DH got up so I could go back to bed. The problem is that on work days I get up at 4:45 and she gets up around 5-5:30, so she wants to get up at that time every day. This = zombie mommie who thinks weekends are for naps and doesn't get much done At all.

It was pretty good. I think I finally replaced bottles with sippies without a major meltdown (with exception of bedtime) and on Sat we had a birthday party to attend in the late afternoon. J has been teething badly for what seems like forever and after an hour we had to leave. Sunday we went with SO's family into the city (NYC) to see a musical, Kinky Boots, which was really good., pretty amazing actually. (LO didn't come). It was a nice weekend overall.

On Saturday we went to our friends kid's baptism. Then to the reception afterwards. DS saw some girls and spent the rest of the day stalking them. He was trying to get their attention and talk to them. The girls had no interest. They were 7 or 8 years old.

Sunday was nothing special. Grocery shopping.

We had a date night on Saturday night with H's sister and brother in law. We had such a good time and ended up at bar afterwards. Home by 10 and hugging the toliet by 10:30 lol it was a lot of fun though

My weekend sucked. I pulled something in my neck on Saturday so I spent the majority of Saturday and Sunday in lots of pain with limited mobility. I could hardly pick Evelyn up, let alone tend to her the way I usually do. Nothing worked, not even a hot or cold compress, or even alternating them. Much better today, now that my weekend is over. Was going to go grocery shopping on Saturday and now it's going to be harder trying to get it done in the middle of the week. Oh well, c'est la vie.
