The only two people I get to tell in person are my grandma and aunt, well and my sisters but I told them right away.
So tomorrow I'll be 8wks exactly, and we are going out to dinner. I made them these little gift bags filled with that crinkly gift bag paper, and in between the layers I put in little trinkets from the baby shower aisle at dollar tree like the little safety pins, the pacifiers, the rocking horses, then at the very bottom I put a picture frame with the ultrasound in it.
It is a little early to share so I am a little nervous, but my ultrasound went great, so I am just crossing my fingers and praying every day that I am part of the 95% who have successful pregnancies after seeing the heartbeat flicker.

Awwww, that's such a sweet way to tell them!
You're pregnant (!!!) so go ahead and celebrate and tell whoever you want. It's not early if you don't think it's early.
We told our very inner circle almost right away, our closer family around 8-10 weeks, everybody else around 12 weeks and then announced on social media at 16 weeks (after I had announced at work) - that's just what felt right to us!

That's awesome! I love it. I wish we didn't live so far away from family and also have everyone in our business. It's hard to keep it a secret and surprise the family when we get our BFP.
I told my parents on the phone at 13w (they live 600 miles away), L told her parents via AOL IM ( ) We told a couple of people right away, but most people around 13 weeks. I was showing pretty quickly.
We waited until 13 weeks to tell family. We sent them a picture of our feet with our horses and a baby pair of paddock boots and the ultrasound picture. For our parents we also included a baby sock (pink stripes since we were having a girl). We waited quite a while until we posted on Facebook- it was after the anatomy scan. But told all our close friends earlier.
Every person/couple knows when they feel comfortable sharing

Very cute! We told my mom, brother and our two best friends the day we found out. We figured regardless of the outcome, we wanted them to celebrate with us, and be there with us for whatever else may come. So excited for you!!
