heybulldog56 sorry about the interview, super disappointing peaseblossom55 big hugs to you as you're struggling lakegirl sorry for all the stress but I'm so glad the baby is ok!
lakegirl, I'm sorry for the stress but glad everything is looking good. Same thing happened with DD. They couldn't find the heartbeat at first and I had to have an unscheduled u/s. It was terrifying. I hope you enjoyed your Chik Fil A.
heybulldog56, good grief woman, I'm sorry you can't catch a break. I hope you can still get the information you need from the blood test. Hang in there!
Omg lakegirl. I'm so so sorry for all that stress and anxiety. What a roller coaster. My DH calls my crisis mode "Spock" because I'm so non-emotional lol.

Thanks everyone. I must admit I am tired of all the "what ifs". No answer is just very unpleasant. DH and I stopped at Dairy Queen for blizzards. Definitely made me feel better.
peaseblossom55, (Hugs) Those milestones sound so incredibly hard. I think its great that you're doing things to be positive about this pregnancy while struggling with your loss milestones.
heybulldog56, I'm sorry to hear your CVS was cancelled. Will they be able to try again later? Not sure how this test works.
lakegirl, Something similar happened at my last appointment. My midwife couldn't find the heartbeat on the doppler, but she was able to pull in a rickety old ultrasound machine in the room from the hall and turn it on and find the heartbeat all within a couple of minutes of the failed doppler attempt. That's awful that you had to wait so long to find out what was going on. Chik-fil-a does make the best chocolate milkshakes, I approve of that as a comfort food for sure!

Does anyone else poop a lot now? This was not what happened with DS at all. I poop at least 2-3 times a day now. Pretty sure it's the only thing keeping me from gaining a ton of weight lol

heybulldog56, I'm sorry they couldn't do the cvs today, hopefully the blood work brings some answers.
lakegirl, I'm glad everything worked out, so sorry for the scare.
peaseblossom55 hugs mama, I'm sorry you have to have those thoughts. It seems you have an awfully sweet husband to help get you through. rinny. Yuck I'm so sorry, I've been there and I know your pain! Hopefully it gets better soon!

I think I've mentioned before that DH works for a beer distributor. Look what he brought home! I am so excited to put them on the deck (he brought two).

Fftc I just showered for the first time in I'm not sure. But in the middle of my shower I realized i wasn't alone. I took a shower with a tiny white gecko, I tried to take a picture before mh caught him but he was quick.

Oh. Thanks to my picture I just realized all the crap I have thrown on the chair in the corner. Oops. At least it's all on one location and not all over the place...
peaseblossom55, Hang in there and I'm sorry you are having a rough time right now.
lakegirl, I'm really sorry for the scare! Do you have an anterior placenta? I do and they couldn't find the HB with a doppler on me at 12 weeks but my ultrasound at 13 weeks was fine.
I booked a work trip to Orlando yesterday. I will be onsite for a huge event at Disney for 8 days. In theory it will be fun but I'm terrified I'm going to just be worn out and miserable.
I had the option of coming home on a weekend, but even with a non stop flight it wasn't worth the hassle of dealing with airports, TSA, possible flight delays, etc. just to spend 48 hours at home.
DH is technically allowed to come down on the weekend, which was our original plan, but I only have about 24 hours without work duties. No sense in spending the money for him to fly down and only get to spend one day with him.
I'm also worried (and will be talking this over with my boss who will also be onsite) about staying hydrated. We will be working 12 hour days (if not more) for most of the time we are down there and it will be a lot of back and forth, time in the parks for activities, and more activity than I'm generally used to. You add in the heat and humidity of Orlando in August and it is a recipe for disaster.
The easy answer is to buy a bottle of water, but this stupid company won't reimburse you the expense of a bottled water, but they will a bottle of soda. I'm going to take a few cups with me, but I'm not sure I can take them into the parks. I don't want to spend $5 for a bottle of water out of pocket every time I need a drink.
Since I'm on the event planning team I'm considering asking the hotel (Disney resort) to keep a pitcher of water in my room so when I am there I have easy access. I'm just concerned that it will be tap water (which is probably fine but I'm paranoid).
thelittleredm yes! I'm pretty sure I'm not eating enough to make the amount going out! But the scale was incredibly generous at my appointment today so I won't complain too much about the extra poops.
aprilz81 no one has said anything about placenta placement but after today I wonder. Could you bring an empty water bottle or buy one there and refill it? I feel like Disney would have those refilling stations. Also that's a dumb work policy to reimburse soda but not water.

aprilz81, not sure if I am helping or not but can you carry a refillable water bottle with you? I have an insulated one that stays very cold for a few hours. I bring it with me everywhere.
Does anyone else poop a lot now? This was not what happened with DS at all. I poop at least 2-3 times a day now. Pretty sure it's the only thing keeping me from gaining a ton of weight lol
Yes! A few times a day and sometimes it is URGENT! Sorry, probably tmi.
aprilz81 the fact that the company will reimburse you for soda, but not water is absurd. Can you bring this up to someone at the company to see if they can change this policy? If not, I'm pretty sure you can get a water bottle with a built in filter, since you are concerned about tap water. The filter should take care of any grossness in the water.

opheliainwaders, now I want an oreo blizzard so bad. I love those, & there is one less than 5 minutes from my house.
Completely random- On our car trip last weekend, H & I began to talk names, so we have one we both like, but we can't seem to agree on any others. I already feel frustrated by it, thank goodness we have time.
