How is it going? Pretty good overall. DD has slightly reduced how much she'll take when I'm at work. Often times I will come home and she has only taken 1, 3-4 oz bottle. I am usually away from her for about 6-7 hours so I'd hope for more. She makes up for it though in the evening and overnight.
Any challenges? I guess my biggest challenges is overnights. I got into the habit of giving her the boob when ever she woke up and now she'll have nothing else. I've tried the pacifier because she isn't even hungry or really nursing, just pacifying to go back to sleep. That isn't working and she gets mad! But it's my own fault because I was too lazy to do anything else. I'll keep trying but I think I'm fighting a losing battle.
Anything new you've noticed? My output at work is hit or miss. Sometimes it's great. Other times it's completely lackluster. Kinda frustrating but hasn't created an issue yet. Since she is eating less while I'm away I'm building up a small stash in the freezer.
Any changes due to solids intro? We'll start introducing solids in about 2 weeks. Excited but also dreading the change in poops since we cloth diaper.
Funny/sweet/entertaining stories to tell about breastfeeding or pumping or bottle feeding? I don't know if this fits but DD is definitely more distractable while nursing. Especially when DS is around. I usually have to go in another room for her to get a good feeding in. Out in public? That's another story and it's almost impossible now because she wants to look around and pull the cover off. My boobs are just too big to nurse in public without the cover!
