Hi! I'm feeling great! I did get a migraine yesterday but my experience last time while stimming was it gives me a ton of extra energy, and that is how I feel today.
I just bought 10 dresses online from the Nordstrom anniversary sale, hopefully they all fit. I need new work dresses badly now that I have to actually get dressed everyday.
Dinner tonight with MIL for her birthday should be fun. The only downside is BIL, whom we don't speak to after a -very long story short - anti-gay Facebook post last year is also coming, but I promised to be nice

I'm annoyed. DW has made some comments lately that really irk me. I lost all the baby weight really fast. Like, within 14 days. However, as you can probably imagine, my mid section doesn't look at all like it did before birthing two 7.5 lb babies.
DW made the comment that 'those boys really tore you up'. Another day she looked at my stomach and said 'it takes some getting used to'. Another day she suggested that if I want to tone it up, I should start doing some crunches. (I don't give a rat's ass about crunches. I care about sleep, and babies, and that is all.) And finally, she THREW AWAY the muddy buddies I made and told me 'You really don't need to be eating that'.
I don't think she's intentionally being horrible, but seriously if looks could kill...
I've called her out on throwing away my food and told her what I eat is absolutely ZERO of her business. The rest I don't know how to address. I'm 169 lbs, the stretch marks are insane, and I'm rocking some serious twin skin. I know it's a mess, and I'd do it all again. But seriously she's pissing me off.

Feeling grateful for my family and a nap today. Feeling productive I ran/walked today ( I'm on day 2 of couch to 5k). Also was able to write for over an hour today. Unpacked two boxes in garage. And looked into starting 529s for kids.
Feeling overwhelmed by the mess that is my kitchen right now though.
crazyaunt84 I'm really sorry you are dealing with that. Maybe have a chat about how those comments made you feel. And let her know that taking care of the twins is priority now. Hopefully you are right and she didn't realize what she was saying was hurtful.
crazyaunt84, I'm sorry you're having to hear these comments. You did such an impressive job growing two healthy babies! I hope you're able to honor and value your body and what it did. I also hope she didn't realize what she was saying and how hurtful it is. Postpartum is hard enough without negative comments. It's a time to lift you up and provide support and encourage. We're impressed with all that you've done! Personally, I believe in eating healthy but I also think there should be occasional treats.

@justjudy, Hope the dresses fit! I recently bought a pair of AG jeans at Nordstrom Rack and they are so comfortable.
I'm feeling tired from an early morning yesterday then flying all day, and waking up at 4 (M stirred then slept for another hour. I think she may have some jet lag) this morning. Thinking M and I are skipping the barn tonight and once CET gets home, we'll have a quiet night. Need to think of something to make for dinner.
Feeling something..... M loved song and story this morning. She smiled the entire time. So much that the teacher and other mom's commented. M shared her first toy. One of the girls who is a little older than M gave M her tambourine and M reached out and took it. So cute! Then I shared M's maraca. Later they switched back. M loved the tambourine. 'Hey Mr. Tambourine man, play a song for me...'
Tomorrow we're meeting a friend and her husband for dinner about an hour north of where we live. I'm hoping the timing works out with M. We'll probably go to the barn and grocery store and try to spend some time as a family. It's been a busy month.

crazyaunt84-- I'm so sorry. That is totally uncalled. I think you are a rockstar for losing all your baby weight already! Sleep deprivation and time constraints, and hormones make it very hard to eat healthy. At least for me I know. And I agree it's none of her business. Hopefully she'll realize she is being an ass.

Feeling tired still but manageable.
Let us know how you make out with the 529s. I think I should probably get on that sooner rather than later but haven't really considered where to start. Good work on the couch to 5k! I can't wait to start running again!

Thanks all. I'll figure out now to approach it with her. I have been eating really healthy for the most part, but I do like a sweet treat almost daily. I flipped when she did that! My body looks the worst it probably ever has, and surprisingly I love it more than I ever have. It'll get back to semi-normal some day. I just need to get her on the same page with me that some day does not need to be today.

That sucks crazyaunt84, I'd be really pissed too. Your body made two perfect little humans, that's totally worth loving and hopefully C can embrace that.
I'm feeling tired. DS is off school and C has a ton of time off this summer and I love having them both home but it totally throws things off with O when everybody's around. We have a pretty good routine and O and I both sleep and function well when we stick to it but I need to get C on board.
