The weather is nuts here right now... We have had crazy pop up thunderstorms and a lot of rain. We could have used all this, minus the thunderstorms, back when Fort McMurry was burning to the ground... Ugh

Just got done helping my sister at a garage sale. We definitely could have thrown in some stuff to sell, but it was super last minute. And I just didn't have the time.
I am taking a nap, I am tired all.the.time.
Next weekend is a local second hand stores 50% off sale, they are HUGE and always have quality items. Hoping to pick up some baby things.
Next week will be so hot. I'm dreading it.
My three dogs are all cuddling with me right now, and I love it.

Today was G's last full swim meet. Holy crap it was hot. 103 heat index. Tomorrow be has a mini meet that is supposed to be even hotter and super long (6+ hrs.) 😳
But G says his first year on swim team was "epic." 😊

Hearing that must make it all worth it! Bet you're looking forward to some air conditioning and a cold drink tonight.

wittyandwaiting, those nights are rough. Hope you got your nap. And fingers crossed tonight is better.
kona, Hope O feels better and you're able to enjoy the party! A friend's baby who is a few weeks older than M has his first fever today. The doctor said it was a virus. Maybe something is going around.
@justjudy, another bike ride! Good for you! Even though, I'm not working right now, I still like to go to the grocery store over the weekend. Timing during the summer is tricky with all the beach goers taking the parking. Making anything good this week?

Currently sitting on the couch. Nursing a now sleeping M. In my sweaty smelly running clothes. Thinking about how nice a shower will be.
Thank you, we will. The trailer is all packed up and we are ready to head to Saskatoon for our 2-3 week IVF 'vaca'.. I am so happy we got the trailer, it would be costing us a fortune to stay in a hotel during all the monitoring.

cetcar I'm trying to bike at least once a week with him. Although I'm sure I won't be up to it after egg retrieval next week. My goal is to work up to riding the Santa Ana river trail for 35 total miles to and from the beach.

Finally cleaned the kitchen floors and I am reminded how much I love my shark steamer. The hardest part is moving the chairs & such out of the room- no big deal!

You've convinced me that I need one of these in my life. I'm been thinking about it for a while.
So we finished our 6 hour drive to Saskatoon with the trailer, got checked in at our camp site and was setting everything up. I hear Jo on the phone.... One of our friends was driving past our house, and the right side garage door was open!! Our garage was open for over 6 hours... Everything was still there, thank god.. But if our friend hadn't driven past, it would have been open till our other friend checked on it later this week...
Can you say we have baby brain?! Neither of us know how it happened, Jo went through the left garage door to get things, and then I didn't check to make sure they were closed. I'm so OCD I check every night before bed that they are shut, and here we are leaving for over 2 weeks and I didn't even look!
So thankful for our friends! The friend with the key went to the house to make sure the door was still shut and walked through the house to make sure all was good too.
Argh!! I don't need to be stressing over the house right now!

Thankfully the meet today wasn't 6 hrs long. We were done at the normal time. And we bit the bullet and bought a 10x10 pop up tent that kept us cool(ish) Heat index was still 97. 😳
The kids and I were home by 1:30, showered, and in pjs by 2. It's been a crazy lazy afternoon. 😊
