C still loves his berries and avocado. He also loves all pasta. Waffles and scrambled eggs are his favorite breakfast foods. Eta: how could I forget the cottage cheese. He devours that stuff! I have a hard time getting him to eat veggies on his own (usually end up giving him a pouch of fruit/veggie mix) and he's not big into meat unless it's lunch meat.

She's stopped eating meats lately and is increasingly picky - last night she ate her quesadilla, but refused corn, beans, and rice - all things she ate as recently as the Fourth of July.

DD loves scrambled eggs, bananas, sweet cherries, pasta, and deli meat. She will try anything at all that we give her, but still doesn't eat large portions. She's more of a snacker. The only thing she really doesn't like (and won't even try a bite of anymore) is ground beef. She also hates vegan cheese, but it is pretty terrible, so I don't blame her.

She love loves watermelon, bananas, apples and pears.. chicken especially BBQ, broccoli, potatoes.. some mornings I make her a breakfast bowl of yogurt, oatmeal and applesauce mixed with cinnamon that she's crazy about, except she wants to feed herself and hasn't mastered the spoon yet but doesn't want anyone to help, so its messy. So far the only thing she's refused is scrambled eggs, and she freaks out if I even make them for myself thinking she's getting some. Detests them lol.
Pretty much she'll eat anything but eggs. She's greedy as all get out and chases people down yelling NUM and steals food off their plates at parties, even if she just ate. That's my kid for sure haha.
My child's tastes seem to change daily right now. Favorites though lately seem to be strawberries, Cheerios, pasta, veggie straws, and waffles.
He won't eat eggs, avocado, or banana. The irony here is banana and avocado were two of his first foods, and he used to gobble them up. I keep offering them occasionally just because I'd love it if he came back to them since they're such easy foods to have on hand.
She hates: Meat (except meatballs) Mashed potatoes Crackers
So, pretty much the same as last time. periwinkledaydreams she will also chase people down for their food. Cracks me up! The kid does not need to be hungry to eat!

Loves: Pancakes Yogurt w/puree Sliced cheese only Chicken Pasta Mashed potatoes Caribou Oatmeal Grits French fries Cheerios
Hates: Eggs Bananas Apples (I tried cutting them up to look like French fries, he got pissed) Blueberries
We're also in the increasingly more picky club. He really seems to like things that are mixed together though. Like spaghetti sauce, he'll eat a butt load of veggies and meat with the pasta. But, with this fever and new teeth we seem to be on the puff and yogurt train again.
I don't know if it's teething but she is getting pickier recently with foods. Her top favorites are still
-hummus -cheese slices -turkey or ham lunch meat -pinto or black beans - yogurt, avocado or guacamole -peanut butter -ground taco meat either beef or turkey

Related side note: I read an interesting blogpost (I think it was on http://www.onehandedcooks.com.au) when DD was a baby but I can't find it now. The advice was to never feed your baby/toddler/kid the same food prepared in the same way two days in a row. For example, you could do roast chicken one night for dinner and chicken nuggets the next but never 2 nights in a row of chicken nuggets fkr dinner. I don't necessarily hold to it with snacks though I try to but always do with breakfasts, lunches and dinners. It worked well for DD who is not fussy at all. I'm hoping it works for F too.

Interesting, I did this with DD1 out of instinct. I tried not to let us get in a food rut and have her expect the same food the same way every time. I grew up with 2 cousins like this and it drove me nuts so I tried my best to not have that happen. It seems to have worked because she is an awesome eater. Sometimes my resolve is weaken by exhaustion with DS so thank you for the reminder and to keep on because the pay off is worth it!
