What's going well: walking or moving almost everyday but that's about it.
What's challenging: we have basically been on vacation since the beginning of June, making things challenging from an eating perspective. Tomorrow we leave for TX, so hopefully as we get settled in we can figure it out.
Anything else you want to share: this weekend H was talking about how he is a blob to but getting strong from holding LO so much and he said "I don't even wanna know what I weigh, I keep getting fatter and stronger" lol, we all lost it.
I'm thinking about getting a new Fitbit, my old one broke.
GTKY: what's one food or drink you couldn't live without? Right now, coffee.
What are your goals: In the short-term, to not let sleep regressions totally throw me off track like they did with DS1. In the longer term, run a decent half marathon this fall.
What's going well: I'm working out regularly (running and weights) and drinking lots of water at work.
What's challenging: My diet is a mess and I'm not drinking enough water on the weekends. I also need to cut back to having a drink maybe every 2nd evening, instead of every single evening. Because in time, it'll be 2 drinks a night and suddenly my pants won't fit.
Anything else you want to share: Getting back into shape has been easier this time, maybe because I'm not neglecting my own well being (PPA/PPD was the worst). But Chase has been sleeping pretty consistently since 6 weeks, so who knows how I'll feel/act once things go south. I'm scared. And fixated.
GTKY: what's one food or drink you couldn't live without? If I really had to limit myself to 1 thing, maybe ice cream? But coffee, wine, yogurt, and chocolate in general are all way up there as well.
Anything you want to share....I bought a pastry from panera last nite. I only ate a bite. Literally only a bite. That's a plus. I usually could eat the whole thing in a min
What are your goals: I need to exercise, but I'm lacking motivation.
What's going well: I'm doing ok with my eating and I'm in the home stretch of being back to where I was pre-baby. I need to tone though and working out will be the key. Bleh.
What's challenging: Drinking enough water each day.
Anything else you want to share: I'm wearing non-maternity work pants today for the first time since baby was born. I really miss the elastic waist band, but at least it looks like I have shape to my butt again.
GTKY: what's one food or drink you couldn't live without? Chocolate
