This is going to be a long week! I am going to camp with my sister. She has down syndrome and it's a special needs camp. Pregnancy tiredness plus being outside all day is seriously going to wear me out!

Up since 5am because my RE wanted me to do a third beta so I treated myself to the donut I've been craving for a week. Why didn't I buy 2?? I feel like a rookie.

kristhegirl I've been feeling good other than fatigue, so I'm not too terribly worried. Although now that I remember, we have to ride a bus to get out to camp. Hopefully that doesn't make me sick!
We've had houseguests for 15 out of the last 30 days. Our last one just left this morning! I'm so freaking excited to have our house back. Lots of cleaning and organizing to do today but hoping I can find some time to relax this afternoon.
My H is going on a business trip to India for two weeks at the beginning of September and wants me to come. I'm kind of tempted since I don't think I'd ever go to India on my own, but an 18 hour flight while 13-14 weeks pregnant sounds like some sort of fresh hell. I'm pretty sure I'll be declining but might plan some sort of fun trip staying in the US while he's gone
How long do you have to decide? FWIW, with DS, that is when I felt my best. All the first tri symptoms had faded and I still didn't have much of a bump. So you might be ok. But if you don't go, I hope you find something else fun to do!
You are a saint caer. I cannot do houseguests. Thanks god 95% of mine and H's family live here and if the others come to stay my in laws live steps away and they can stay there!

Morning! I have a big client meeting today and am hoping my boss shows up for this one. She missed the last one and I don't think I can handle a repeat performance. I'm not feeling super well this morning, so I'm hoping the rest of my day goes smoothly so I can take it easy-ish.
Fearsy, our attic is ridiculously well insulated (one of the few things the previous owner did right) and we save SO much money on central air and oil because of it!
Today is DD's 1 year well visit, which means vaccines Up until now I have handled it pretty well b/c she wasn't as aware of what was going on, but I'm anxious for today b/c she's an actual little person with an attitude now!
Other than that, I was on vacation last week and just don't want to work ever again. Happy Monday!

ugaqueencity you should go!! I took a 4 hr plane to Hawaii when I was 12ish weeks (not nearly as long as India) and it went great!! I peed a couple times but was feeling so much better by then and took a nap too. You're not too big and first tri is over

We're eating breakfast and then going on a wog (walk/jog) with another pregnant friend. Then taking her to look for bras since she loved mine. Then maybe pool time, we'll see.
daisylola11, omg those temperatures. Here in New England, "hot" means 3-4 days of 90+. I am not a hot weather person (if it could be spring or fall and 65-70 degrees year-round I'd be happy!), and don't know how you do it!

It's miserable!! I have to find indoor activities so my kid doesn't go nuts and it's why I haven't ran in forever, ain't nobody got time to run at 4am before the sun makes you a raisin.
daisylola11, yep, you're quite a distance from here haha If you ever do make it out this way in Sept/Oct/Nov, hit me up and we can go leaf peeping and all the New England things!
I'll be out in Fairfield, CA (I don't actually know where that is off the top of my head..but it's closer to you the New England!) in December!

My left nipple hurts like crazy now when my daughter nurses. Since it's her preferred boob I don't see an easy resolution. Just gonna keep my fx that it's just temporary because this feels like the first 3 months all over again.

Ok, so is everyone going to their appointments right away? Are we mostly STM, at least? I'm just skipping my first appointment because I'm not doing an ultrasound and I already know all the "education" they're going to tell me.

I think it probably depends on the situation. I'm a STM but have had a loss and got pregnant with assistance from a RE so I'm going to be monitored closely and early. I think there are several people in my position. I'm sure other people will be in the more normal 8-12 week range for the first appointment.

Right. I get the circumstances dictate the care. I just wasn't sure if everyone was going this early because of that or if there were some who were waiting longer. I have a LEEP history (2 of them, actually) and if I were to see an OB she would be doing u/s every 4 weeks, but since I'm going to a MW instead she's waiting until our 20 week appointment with our regular a/s unless other risks arise. And first appointment at 12 weeks.

I'm a BTDT (3rd kid) but my OB requires seeing patients once between 6-8 weeks (if known pregnancy, obviously. And there is no u/s (unless needed for dating or problem). The first u/s for this practice is the A/S which is optional.
