mikaela20 pregnancy fatigue is no joke. Hope it's an easy day for you!
Fearsy good luck with the appt! Hope C naps in the car, it usually puts E out still at 16 months on longer trips!
I'm meeting some friends from college for lunch today. We all had babies around the same time so I'm looking forward to catching up with a few I haven't seen for awhile. Like Fearsy I'm hoping E naps in the car because they want to meet at noon and E usually naps at starting at noon. My goal is to wear her out this morning and leave early she hoping takes a short nap in the car so she's not a holy terror during lunch.
Good morning! You can add me to the needing a nap club, although the fact that my one year old suddenly decided to go through a sleep regression isn't helping. He was sleeping well for a month or two, got sick, and now is waking twice a night and insisting on bottles each time. So that's fun. I told H we need to come up with a plan to start night weaning him once and for all this weekend, because I cannot fathom functioning with two terrible sleepers in nine months. Luckily, it should be a quiet-ish day at work. Hope everyone has a great Tuesday!
I'm over here freaking out b/c I feel nothing. And I know better than to freak out, but yet here I am. And, because I continue to POAS (I'm only 11dpo so it's allowed..right?), my Wondfos look OK (although I wish they'd be nice and dark by now but, again, I should know better!), but the FRER today was quite a bit lighter than 9dpo. The control line was a bit blurry so I'm trying to convince myself it's the test, not me, but after a CP last month I'm just spiraling down to crazy town.
(((Hugs))) kaits8. I want to say step away from the peesticks but since I'm still peeing on all the things, I get it. Just remember that it's super early and that HPTs can vary. FX that everything is ok!
kaits8 try not to freak out too much, which is easier said than done. Luckily I ran out of tests and have been too tired to go to the store or I would be in your position. CPs and MCs really mess with you.

I apparently don't know how to tag fearsy. Sorry for being so #new.

If it makes you feel better the Wondfos didn't get really dark for me until like 20 DPO, even when the CBE weeks estimator tests were going up in weeks, then one morning a switch flipped and they were significantly darker than the control lines (I fully admit I peed on all the things while waiting on beta results)
+ 1 for no really dark line until about 21 DPO on Wondfos, then suddenly getting extremely dark.
I am exhausted. And I am definitely having to pee more urgently/more often. I had to go straight to the bathroom when I got to work this AM and it was a near miss. Usually I can wait to settle in at my desk a bit.

Thanks everyone I know I'm just being crazy. My tests are already darker than they ever got with my CP so I am trying to keep that in mind. And with DD they didn't start really getting darker until 15dpo++. I'm just barely pregnant, I need to just stop peeing on things at least until this weekend. Getting such an early BFP is a blessing and a curse because it's just more time to worry!
Fearsy I freaking hate traffic and car naps, but it sounds like that would be best for you so I hope she slept! jillywilly I hope the sleep regression is short-lived!!
kaits8 if POAS at 11DPO is crazy then I don't want to be sane. My wondfos didn't really darken til 14 DPO.

I woke up w the worst stiff lower back. I blame the 3hr nap my son took on me yesterday sitting on the couch. I need to stretch it or walk today. It's only gonna be 90 so hoping for some outdoor play today.
I have been dog sitting for MIL and I cant wait to take her home on Saturday. We will have had her for 2 weeks and that is more than enough. She is very sweet and gentle but doesn't listen at all. Oh and she just pissed in front of my door after being outside for 30 minutes. Great morning.

I'm just going to whine here - my back really hurts
Current solution is my cardigan as a bolster. I tried out the other style of office chair we have, and laid on the floor for a while, but it still hurts.
obi , I'm pet sitting (fortunately it is in their own homes, not mine) 3 different houses in August. It's so frustrating when they don't listen!
Update on my peeing addiction...I peed on another Wondfo with SMU and it was way darker than FMU and shows a really solid progression 8dpo-11dpo. So I threw out any of the multiples (b/c I like to pee on 2-3xday..) and am chalking the FRER up to a bad test (they have always been the last to get dark for me anyways) and am going to try to not pee on anything until Saturday/Sunday.
Also, when I start whining about 1st tri symptoms (I was miserable with DD from 7 weeks - 15 weeks), you all have my permission to make fun of me!

I feel like I won an award. I ordered a bunch of things for the kids from the anniversary sale on Friday and have been obsessively tracking the estimated arrival dates. Of course I snuck in a few purchases for myself was scared my husband would be home to intercept the packages on his day off Thursday. All the packages are being delivered Wednesday, Friday, and Monday.
Full disclaimer: I know he wouldn't care, but I've been trying to rid the house of clutter and here I am buying more things. If anything I'm more annoyed with myself than he would be.
I have to drive into the city for my intake appointment today. It's not until 10am but I'm leaving at 7:30am because traffic is a bitch. I'm hoping C will take her first nap in the car and not be a holy terror.
Can I ask what your daughters name is? My dd is Charlotte, I was wondering if they have the same name.
kaits8 I know the obsession of peeing on all things. I'm glad they seem to be progressing. I bet by the weekend they will be really dark. Also, are we not suppose to complain about 1st tri symptoms? Opps, I'm doing it wrong then! Lol
obi took the words out of mouth today. I'm not feeling great this week.
So tired. Need a nap. Maybe I can leave work early and say I'm sick. I'm also calling in sick Thursday for my u/s appt day. I know I won't be able to concentrate whether it's good or bad news. I wish I had more sick days.
Some of my co-workers know I'm KU bc they have to cover cases. I feel weird with them knowing and I hope no one shares it in a more public forum, like Facebook, before we tell our families (Labor Day)
I have to get my car serviced and get a state inspection today. I was planning on just getting a loaner vehicle but my H told me I should test drive a couple new car options while I wait. I wasn't really planning on getting a new car but now I'm spiraling

I'll 3rd the request for car details. We have a 12+ year old Pontiac that needs replacing anyway, and I've been looking at other options but don't have a clear winner yet. It still runs just fine for the time being, but I think it's on borrowed time now.
ugaqueencity what are you considering? We love our Pilot. H wants me to get a Sequoia, but I think it's too big.
I love big cars. It's like driving a tank. The sequoias are beautiful. I have to stick with Buick or GMC though. I just got my enclave last year but have been lusting after the new yukons. I'm just not sure my car will have any trunk space with three car seats, two of which will be rear facing. My H said 3 years so I'm gonna live vicariously through everyone getting new cars now.

I have an Infiniti QX60 right now, I don't want to go too big so maybe looking at the QX70. I also like the Audi Q7 and whatever the similar sized Mercedes is
Not muskiefan, but you couldn't go wrong with either car. Both ride amazing and have good crash test ratings. Plus they are pretty!

I drive the Audi Q5 right now and LOVE it. We're talking about moving to the Audi Q7 when our family grows. I test drove one and it's terrific!
