I drive the Audi Q5 right now and LOVE it. We're talking about moving to the Audi Q7 when our family grows. I test drove one and it's terrific!
The Q5 was on my short list when I got my current car but I kind of hated the sales rep, since we've moved its back at the top of my list
Bummer about the sales rep! I've had mine for 3 years (we got it after we found out we were expecting DS) and I can't say enough good things about it. It drives really well and it's a great size, especially for a family with one child.

This is the third time I have heard someone say they loved an Audi but walked away due in part to the sales person. Both my uncle and my former realtor had the same experience. Sad, because Audi is amazing.

I'm glad to not be the only one with an aching back right now, I thought I was crazy because it feels like it did in third tri last time around. Pull it together, body - if you fall apart when baby's the size of a seed, what's going to happen when there's a baby sized baby in there? I was able to run out and grab some Tylenol at least over lunch, hoping that helps.

How does a stroller fit in the trunk? Is there still room for some shopping bags or whatever? (I'm also assuming this is largely dependent on the type of stroller)
I have a citi mini that literally lives in my trunk. It folds up. I do all my shopping with it in there and haven't had any issues.

I've been in meetings all day.
For those asking about car recs, my husband refuses to get an Acadia. He sees an inordinate amount of them come through the shop with the same (expensive) parts replaced. Which is a bummer, because I actually kind of liked it when I test drove one.

We are also looking into a bigger car soon. We got my Jeep Patriot before having my son and no good w two tall parents. It's going to be a tight squeeze w two rear faced.
We are liking the pilot (although everyone and their mom has one here) and the explorer. I would like a third row but H isn't convinced we need it yet. Agree it needs a very good trunk space!! We have a smaller stroller that's fine with groceries around it but my jogging stroller pretty much takes up the whole back and I can't imagine a double side by side stroller fitting in there.
Ugh and we are going to start shopping for a house in nov so might have to live w this jeep for now until we move.
I hope car rides were successful, fatigue has eased up, and back pain remits!
Hugs kaits8! It's definitely still early. Hopefully this scary time will pass quickly. Oh my goodness ugaqueencity we need a play by play of the test drives so I can know what I'm in for slash be super jealous. There was a meeting with food today. I have no shame and piled my plate with more than the men.
ugaqueencity what are you considering? We love our Pilot. H wants me to get a Sequoia, but I think it's too big.
I love big cars. It's like driving a tank. The sequoias are beautiful. I have to stick with Buick or GMC though. I just got my enclave last year but have been lusting after the new yukons. I'm just not sure my car will have any trunk space with three car seats, two of which will be rear facing. My H said 3 years so I'm gonna live vicariously through everyone getting new cars now.
I can fit 3 across with the pilot 2 RF. (I just turned DD around about 6 months ago) It's a struggle with the infant seat, though, because it's wider. I have a Diono (FF), Evenflo symphony(RF), and a Graco snugride infant seat.
My tooth paste made me gag this morning. This should be fun
I was actually going to ask if this was happening to anyone else! Like, the very act of brushing my teeth makes me gaggy and I was hoping I wasn't alone.
*im still brushing my teeth least anyone think I've just stopped for 9 months... Just feeling reassured I'm not crazy!
So jealous of everyone looking at cars. It's not even even remotely possible right now for us and we will be fine but it sure would be nice. One day...
Lunch with the girls was fun. E did pretty good and it was fun seeing all their babies too. I've already made plans with one of them to meet up later this week for some pool time. I love being back home and getting to reconnect like this for the time being.

I am in total panic mode. I just put in a call to my doctor, but could use any positive vibes you have. Seems that my bleeding has returned and it's worse than before.
summerrain so very many positive thoughts for you!! Cheezits are a household staple. DD is craaazy about them. And yeah, she learned it from me. I am usually a sweets person. But when I'm pregnant, it's sriracha on everything. I put it on my veggie sausage this weekend-
