Good morning!
The humidity seems to have finally let up a little bit... Thank god.
I just dropped C off for her second solo (half) day at her new daycare. She cried SO hard when I left. It breaks my heart. I know she'll be fine but I'd be so happy if she could just not scream when I leave. I'll try to explain that to her... Maybe she'll get on board
Now I'm off to the osteopath and to register at the hospital for baby 2!
I'm sorry annapunkalunka it sucks to have drop offs like that DS's babysitter used to text me when I got to work to let me know he was fine and playing

I know I should get out of bed, but knowing how much work is waiting for me, I don't wanna. Not much going on here just same old. Pretty much nothing to do around here but lots of housework for a while. Might work on the bathroom and going through my clothes today so we can get rid of the dresser this weekend. I'll be so glad when that's gone.

I need to stop staying up so late. I don't know what's wrong with me. The last two nights I've been up till midnight. Soon it will be sleep deprivation city and you'd think that would be motivation to get as much sleep as I can. I'm tired all day long and soon as it hits 9 or 10 at night I'm wide awake.

Im like that all the time. I usually take a unisom every. Other night for a few days to get my body back on a proper schedule. I think it's safe to take while pregnant too. Maybe something to ask your doctor about.

I just need to get my ass to bed I'm sure if I were to actually lay down in bed I'd pass out. I just feel really awake at 9-10 for some reason. Tylenol PM seems to do the trick for me when I'm having trouble.
Holy shit, that's crazy singingsea! Your gif explains it perfectly lol I'm the same way with sleep. I'm always like, "I'm gonna go to bed so early!" Then I'm up til 11 watching tv with DH.
Guise, I have discovered maternity underwear and I have seen the light! So comfy! Especially the 'fold over' ones from motherhood maternity.
singingsea 6 weeks sounds so short! The 10 I have left sounds like an eternity. But I love the doctor I saw today - she walked in and said 30 weeks, only 8 or 9 to go, right? I sure hope so.
My friend texted at 8:50am only 10 minutes until her c-section. I am glued to my phone waiting for a squish update.
We're about to make H's birthday cake and DD is insisting it be a Mickey Mouse cake. She went to a birthday party last weekend and that's what they had. Sorry DH, you get a Mickey cake with thousands of sprinkles. She also bought him a purse so he could match us. I love this age.
ETA: Got my baby picture. They're all doing well!!!

I'm the same way. It's so bad! Really need to get to bed earlier while I can!!

PSA: Target is doing a free $20 gift card with purchase of 3 boxes of marked Pampers, Huggies, Up & Up, and a couple other brand diapers. Diapers themselves aren't on sale, but at $25 a box that $20 gift card is practically a free box!
DH and I booked our babymoon last night for Asheville. We'll only be gone 2 nights and it's only 2hrs away. I am so excited to get away just us before we become a family of 4.
I think we may use it to celebrate our anniversary a month early because I'm due 2 days after our real anniversary and I think I may have a little squish taking up all of our time on the actual day

Yes Unisom is safe. I tried taking it last pregnancy and I don't think it worked for me. But I was so paranoid that maybe it was working some and if I stopped taking it I'd sleep even less, so I kept taking it. Or I'd take tylenol pm if I had a headache or other pain too. Tylenol pm is my go to right now because I'm in pain most nights, but I hate relying on pills

flyakite - 8 hours in a car sounds like torture to me right now. I did a couple 1 1/2 hour each direction drives recently and even that was a lot for my back to handle.
Not ideal, but could he go without you since he really wants to go?
flyakite I'm doing a 6 hour trip Friday, then 2 more to a lake. I think it'll be about 8 home. I'm dreading it and H is already prepared to drive 95% of the time. Luckily DD is an awesome traveler (with her DVD player of course).

So I'm looking for a robe to wear post partum in the hospital mainly, but around the house, too. Anyone have any good recommendations? I'd like it to be cotton, that's my only must.

I'm having late nights too but they're not entirely my fault. I can never fall asleep when I lay down right away because LO enjoys kicking and rolling around at that time of night. Usually it takes 30 minutes-1 hour for him/her to settle down so I'm usually messing around on my phone or reading an ebook in the dark until that happens. Lately that means I don't go to sleep until 11:30. And I'm up 2-3x/night to pee anyway. And I roll back and forth all night long because my hips are constantly sore.
So honestly, I'll probably sleep better when the baby gets here.
flyakite I couldn't do the drive. I'm dreading the 2 hr drive to my parents time share that we're using this weekend. If it were me, I'd send MH to the party solo and I'd stay home.
