Poor Tuesday. Abandoned until the afternoon. We did library and pool today. I have been putting off groceries too long. I need to buy food once the kids wake up. Nothing else really.
i've been in meetings all morning. we looked at a house last night that would be a pretty big project - but location is pretty good, exterior of house is super cute and the bones are great. Just don't know if I want a project or if we even have the available cash to do everything I would want to do with it.
F is being super whiney and clingy this week. At least it seems like he is managing to take naps in the RnP (how he even fits in there still I have no idea). Hopefully we can transition that back into the crib soon.

I'm leaving town on Thursday morning with the kids. Working on packing today and determined to fit clothes for the three of us and gifts for my nieces in one suitcase.

Hi! H got the offer today and will be accepting in the morning. It will be nice to have some stability!
E killed lunch and dinner today. I was so surprised with how much she ate feeding herself. She's growing up so fast!
I know right. They are growing up so fast. I was just saying how he is too little to eat much food and last night he ate a ton. It was banana and avocado mashed together.

I had my WFH day so was super busy w C. He is all over the place. I'm starting to think that I need to start sending him to DC on my WFH days. As much as i want to soak up every possible second w my last baby, it's not fair to him. I can't focus all the attention to him bc I need to do work things. It'd be better for him to be playing and doing activities. :/ Cue mommy guilt.
After work today, I went to Carters and Old Navy for kids' clothes shopping. I still have a really hard time finding boys things that I like. Whereas I will have armfuls of stuff for my DD.
Oh congrats sunfrogger88 to your H! That is exciting stuff. How'd you all finally decide which was the better option?
The biggest factor was the fact that he'd be earning a salary again, plus it's a 40 hour week where he's currently working 60-70+ hours. Ultimately it comes down to.... We can't sustain a family on my income + whatever he earns (which was a non dependable amount). We just have too much debt right now.

We finally got a new (to us) van! About time, ours is so rusted out you can hear the air blowing through the floor. We pick it up after we get back next week. Red 2008 Dodge Grand Caravan. The things that get me excited now.

Baby question (kind of): DD2 has now passed DD1 in appetite. I don't understand where she puts it!?!? Does anybody else have an eater like this? She eats everything which is surprising in itself, but it's the volume! Like I have to make her stop or I'm sure she'd keep going until she barfs or passes out.

Sometimes DD eats like this! Out to eat the other night she ate a pouch of puree, pickles, pork, lamb, and potatoes. She still wanted more but we were done eating ...because WE were full

yup. K will continue eating as long as we put food on his tray. It amazes me every time. I'm pretty sure he actually eats more than our 3 year old at any given meal.

Yes! DD1 is 4 and she can out eat her every time. My cousins watched her while we had date night and they couldn't believe how much she ate. 3 big plates of shepherds pie and they had to stop feeding her because she still wanted more! Same with water. She drinks until she chokes on it, then cries because I won't give her more.

My 9 month old niece out-eats my 2 year old nephew. It's hilarious!

I feel like DD1 was also a big eater but maybe didn't notice as much because I didn't have an older child to compare her to.
