My belly definitely dropped and I had a suspicion it was because the babies flipped head down and they did! Just had it confirmed at my weekly biophysical profile ultrasound.

Baby boy is getting big. He is now being wrapped in actual blankets rather than pillowcases. So all those little swaddle blankets I started are now pointless. Oh well.

33w5d. STM. Boy.
I'm feeling particularly miserable today. I can't keep up with DS and I got half way through unloading the dishwasher before saying fuck it. No energy at all.
My belly definitely dropped and I had a suspicion it was because the babies flipped head down and they did! Just had it confirmed at my weekly biophysical profile ultrasound.

You give me hope. Mine is still sitting breach at just about 32 weeks. Maybe she'll flip over. Save

DD1 was breach until 34-35 weeks and she flipped. This time, Baby A was breach and Baby B transverse as of last week and thankfully both were head down today. You still have time! Check out Spinning Babies and a chiropractor trained in Webster technique.

I don't actually know which direction he is. At my appt 2 weeks ago the Dr's best guess based on feel was head down, but it was more of a "I think he's head down", not a real "he's head down". I meant to ask the Dr I saw yesterday about determining his position but I forgot since I was more focused on asking about my feet swelling.

I'm 90% certain she's head up. My OB agrees, she definitely isn't feeling a head down low. She's going to do an internal in two weeks, and if she can't tell for sure she'll send me for an ultrasound. If she's still breach at that point they'll refer me to one of the higher risk OBs to talk about either flipping her or scheduling a c section. H and I are leaning toward the latter because flipping has its risks.
But in the meantime, I'll just keep hoping she flips over.

Thanks to the GD diet, I'm back to the weight I was at my first appointment, which is about 10lbs down from my pre-pregnancy weight. Super stoked about that.

Oh! Did not realize they could tell if baby was head down from internal checks. So I should learn if he's head down in 3 weeks. My next appt is 8/2 and I'll be 34w5d so I imagine I'll go to weeklys from there and my Dr office starts internals at 36w I believe.

Apparently they can, normally. I'm not sure how that works, but she said that she'd do an internal to see if she could feel the head on my cervix or something like that.
I'm not totally opposed to having one more ultrasound before my due date, though.
