Oh! Did not realize they could tell if baby was head down from internal checks. So I should learn if he's head down in 3 weeks. My next appt is 8/2 and I'll be 34w5d so I imagine I'll go to weeklys from there and my Dr office starts internals at 36w I believe.
Apparently they can, normally. I'm not sure how that works, but she said that she'd do an internal to see if she could feel the head on my cervix or something like that.
I'm not totally opposed to having one more ultrasound before my due date, though.
My friend had an u/s at 36 weeks to confirm position so I was surprised when nothing of the sort was showing up on my office's list of standard procedures. Makes sense now! Start with the internal check then only use u/s to confirm if they're not positive.
I keep thinking his movements feel like he could be head down. I would just love some confirmation.
I'm 90% sure he's head down and has been since like 24 weeks. The butt is softer than the head when you feel it. Also the hiccups are very low. My MW always puts the Doppler pretty low to find the heartbeat, not that it's an issue at this point but she feels the baby and puts the Doppler where she thinks the heart kinda is. Anyway, I have an ultrasound next week so I'll know for sure
I was so sure he's head down I didn't bother asking my MW. I might be wrong though...
My belly definitely dropped and I had a suspicion it was because the babies flipped head down and they did! Just had it confirmed at my weekly biophysical profile ultrasound.

You give me hope. Mine is still sitting breach at just about 32 weeks. Maybe she'll flip over. Save
Chiropractors can help if you're into that sort of thing. I love mine!

I've been thinking about it. I'm a little concerned about anything that will attempt to force her to flip over, but I'm not opposed to like doing some muscle exercises and some hip alignment type of stuff.
Unfortunately all the chiros around here charge an arm and a leg and my insurance has no coverage for it. Save

Have you tried calling a doula? Mine helps with baby positioning.
LadyNymeria My doc was able to tell my daughter's position just from feeling the outside of my belly and then she confirmed once she started internals. Hopefully you find out soon!!

I haven't, no. I did try some of the exercises that someone in here pointed me to online. And I've been spending more time in the pool, trying to see if me being somewhat weightless might help her make up her mind (plus it helps my low back). Save
