Morning Ladies,
Its Thursday and well I am ready for it to be Friday!! Anywho.
TMI: BUT am I the only one with the insane discharge, watery...I am contemplating a panty liner everyday. I have forgot one on certain days and just wished I brought another pair of underwear..this might just be me lol!
Oh and so my DH does Happy Hour on wed or thurs sometimes and the past two weeks..its my excuse to go and get a whooper and Mcdonalds fries. I enjoy it so much but then I am fighting with my toddler...she tries to sit in my lap and eat my food. Man talk about hormones..I had to cool my jets on telling to get out of my food...MOMMIES PREGNANT.. LAYOFF! lol. But then I look at her and she is so cute as she takes a bite of my French fry that I was trying to put in my mouth. Did I mention that she already had dinner prior..I don't usually let her have fast food.
Ha ha WineNChocolate, I think you're totally valid. You deserve that food, no matter how cute she is! P.S. I started wearing a liner every day a long time ago, am I the only one? Keeps everything clean and I usually remove it in the evening, which is basically like putting on a fresh pair of underwear. It's great!
My TMI is that sometimes while I'm changing I just stop and stare at myself in the mirror because I cannot believe how crazy different my boobs look. I cringe a little, but I can't look away... I miss my tiny boobies.

My not-so TMI is that I got a coupon for those enfamil PNV's and they're making me sooo burpy. UGH. There was an additional coupon inside the box ($5 off!) but, god damn these burps are as bad as fish oil burps. I might just toss the coupon.
WineNChocolate, STAY AWAY FROM MAMA'S FRIES!!!! Winnifred, I do that too. My boobs have visible veins now. So that's gross and weird (to me). They better go back into hiding in a couple months.

Last night I walked in the house and DH said "whoa, look at your belly!". Thanks dude. I was actually feeling like my belly was less noticeable yesterday. Guess not.
TMI- At the moment, I can recreate the Ally Sheedy scene in Breakfast Club were she draws a picture and then makes it snow.
Just another Thursday! My parents fly into town tonight. They are going to finish painting DS's big boy room for me. Also, I hired a lawn crew for my yard. We live on an acre and don't own a riding lawn mower (my DH has been fighting a losing battle with me on this since we bought the house) and it has gotten to be too much for me to go out and push the lawn mower and then use the weed whacker to trim around all the trees and plants in our yard. Hiring a lawn crew is officially the best decision I've ever made.
I haven't pooped in a few days and then last night had a dream that I pooped in the pool. Pregnancy dreams are fun.

Good morning ladies!
I borrowed a pregnancy pillow from a coworker, but I'm not really skeeved out by it. I washed the cover and I guess I'll assume she doesn't have bed bugs.
And +1 for discharge and "different" boobs. My nipples are huge and I'm not a fan.
I think this baby sits back in belly (think closer to my spine) because I have a serious amount of pressure in my butt that I cannot otherwise explain. I've never experienced this before this early.
Also, I'm finishing up a human anatomy course for me degree and we are working in a cadaver lab. Pregnancy strong smeller + cadaver lab = a really bad experience. I am on the verge of passing out after about 15 minutes of lab time.

Winnifred, I GUESS I am just the one that needs to get with the panty liner world. I just have to be careful during pregnancy my body well hates me and loves to find reasons for UTIs and BV. Hooray me. Oh the boobs...I tried on one of maternity bras that is an H...luckily I am not there yet. I am only in my Quad D. Not to mention I use bio-oil on my boobs and tummy for stretch marks. LET ME SAY THIS..if you haven't you should be using something for stretch marks. I didn't get a one thank god. But I bathed in Bio-oil from beginning of 2nd trimester. I also have blemishes on my boobs cause stupid oil and my skin.
lastnamewithheld, Enfamil What? Sorry not sure I know what that is...well I am gassy today..I just had to have a Mocha with breakfast. What do you know..I know my ass is lactose intolerant. BUT I just had to have it. So here we are tummy super extended..and I just need a tums or gas-x so bad.
littlelion, HAHAAHAHA my DH does it too. I know sometimes I feel like ohh you don't look that big and then there are other days I look HUGE. My Dh's comments are not always needed. He fails to remember that till after he gets the look. Lil people do steal everything and feel they need to be apart of everything. I think I am going to start eating after she goes to bed...to just enjoy. lol
@kc295905, bravo you for not having a snoogle yet. I TOTALLY used my gf snoogle first pregnancy just washed that cover. If I were to buy it from someone else..I would Lysol the hell out of it..probably till dripping and was in hot water the cover 2x. Go get it for 20. 70 bucks is rough. I would not be sleeping if I didn't have mine. Did I mention DH has one...there are two in our bed with DD he used to steal mine, so I made him buy one.
kaydee0402, OMG you guys must be in shape we have an acre and we had a lil riding john deere and then we upgraded to like a Kubota with a bucket...lol cause my hubs is really a redneck...he likes to think he is not. But where he is from is farms and cowboy boots..just accept it. lol
requiressnacks, Oh the joys of pregnancy...nothing like feeling sexy. My DH wonders why I am not so in to DTD..I feel like a cow with utters. There is nothing sexual about this body right now its like an incubator and its doing all kinds of weird things. He doesn't quite get that..
requiressnacks, I think the only reason I get grossed out by it is because once while traveling work, I had a room with bed bugs. That was a big NOPE. So now I'm ridiculously paranoid, lol.
Toddlers stealing my food is why I ate standing up at the kitchen counter for most of 2008-2010. It got to the point where they were getting more of my food than I was.

That would freak me out too! I've never had a bedbug encounter...to my knowledge....

WineNChocolate, MH is kind of freaked out by my body too. He literally said he was worried to have sex because he might "hit the babies in the head." I assure you, this will NEVER happen, bro.
But I think he just can't get past the fact that I'm growing 2 babies. So, 1st tri he was all about the sex and I refused, 2nd tri I'm feeling great and ready to get down, but he's not interested. So basically....it's going to be a long 9 months for both of us.

I am not prepared to handle children eating off of my plate. This could be a problem!!
I also don't want to buy an expensive pregnancy pillow. It doesn't look comfortable to me at all. We'll see how long I can hold out before it starts to sound appealing.
requiressnacks, I had NO IDEA about the increase in nip size generally so this one has been hard for me too. In addition to the veins and heavy appearance of my boobs in general, the nips pretty much put me over the edge. It's probably just going t get worse
WineNChocolate, you should definitely try them! I've always wondered if I'm in the small majority of individuals who actually use them on a regular basis. But I think if more people tried them for a normal day (non period) they might convert.
mrsp121308, I can't imagine working with cadavers, let alone being pregnant while dealing with them! More power to you, though!!
Another TMI/question from me - I'm only really interested in doing missionary right now but I worry about laying flat on my back. Does anyone else worry about this? My dr told me to avoid it if at all possible, so it's all I can think about whenever we try to have some fun, which pretty much just turns me off.

mrsp121308 , as fascinating as that sounds, I could not imagine having to deal with those smells day in and day out. Yeesh.
All this pregnancy pillow talk has made me kinda want one. What kind should I get? What kind do you all have? (assuming you have one?) Maybe if I'm in a lovely pillow nest/cocoon I wouldn't wake up in the middle of the night so often. lol
Another TMI: I think I might say f*ck it and just go au naturel with my pubes. It's such a hassle already.

lastnamewithheld, yeah there's something about the potential of blocking blood-flow to the fetus when you lay flat on your back. I had seen this online and I asked my dr, they said that it's ok for a few minutes but to avoid it if possible. They suggested propping myself up with pillows but that defeats the point for me. I miss laying on my back terribly. Also they said if you wake up on your back, don't worry about it - you obviously couldn't do anything to stop yourself. Anyone else have thoughts/opinions on this?
P.S. I already barely care about the hair, I have a feeling I will be at a 0% caring level when I can't even see what the hell is going on down there.

I was kind of under the impression that if you're in a position that compromises blood flow, you'll become uncomfortable and just shift into another position. But then again, I just read that somewhere and have no first hand experience. I'm curious to see what others have to say!
All that said, if you're on your back for a few minutes for sex, I don't think anything bad is going to happen. It's not like you're being held down flat on your back for 8 hours. (or are you? Hey, no judgement ...get it girl!)

lastnamewithheld,You can put too much weight on your aorta and vena cava along with some of your intestines if you are completely flat. My doc said even propping yourself up slightly helps. She said mostly you want to avoid things like corpse pose in yoga or no pillows in bed.
As for the pillow, I got one of those ones that is like 2 body pillows connected at the top. I kept waking up to turn over and had to take the pillow with me and it was annoying. I love this new one, it's like my own little cocoon.

Speaking from experience, you'll absolutely wake up if you're compromising blood flow. I didn't think it would start when the baby isn't all that big, but this time around my body hates me and I totally wake up if I roll onto my back. I feel panicky, like I can't breathe, even though I can. I asked my OB about it and he said it's more than likely because of my uterus squishing that vein. It didn't start until much much later with my last pregnancy.
I have noticed if I keep a pillow under my hip, so I'm leaning towards the side, not necessarily on my side, everything is fine. It's when I end up flat on my back that I wake up feeling like hell.

Sleeping on your back: It's not a big deal early pregnancy because the baby is still so small, so there isn't much pressure. However, at 30 weeks pregnant, if I even accidentally rolled onto my back while sleeping, I always woke up pretty quickly because of the pressure. Right now I'm still pretty okay if I sleep on my back.
Pubes: LOL my DH is deployed, I've only worried about trimming it enough so I can wear a swim suit. I'm going to go get a wax before he comes home though!
On the subject of pubes, if anyone is going to need a c-section, get waxed/trimmed up before you go in. Having a nurse shave my pubes so they could perform a c-section was one of the most mortifying experiences EVER.
Okay ladies... late to the show, and now I need to bust out my pregnancy pillow tonight. DH is going to be pissed. He already complains about not having enough room.... one of our dogs sleeps in bed with us, and sometimes G joins us... so I can imagine he won't be too thrilled about adding my big pillow to our queen sized bed. LOL.
+10000000 to babies eating off your plate. G wants everything that we eat... EVERYTHING! and drink I might add.... I once gave her a drink out of my water bottle. Um, that was a mistake... do you realize all the floaties that were floating around in there after she was done with it? ICK!
When I was thinking about delivery w/ G I was thinking that you should be at least trimmed and not totally crazy down there... however, after experiencing delivery once I can tell you with certainly that nobody will care what your hoo-ha looks like. I went into labor early and spontaneously, so I don't even remember what I looked like... however, that was the last thing on my mind at the time. There I was spread eagle on the bed when in walked the NICU team incase if G needed any help, one of the guys was WAVING at my husband....... later I asked him who that was, oh no big deal.. just his hunting buddy. Talk about weird. Then once I was able to shower one of the nurses came in to help me get out of the shower, showed me how to put on the huge diaper panties, the ice packs in the panties and sprayed me down with some numbing spray.... talk about all up in your business. I probably could have walked around the maternity ward naked at that point.
