I don't know what day it is... I don't know if it matters. It is supposed to be blazing hot here today. That is all I can think about. My brain is already melting.
It's Thursday. I know this because my oldest has school thank goodness. I don't know what I'm going to do next week when she's on break. It's going to be crazy hot here too. I think we are going to the mall. I have a few errands I can take care of there and it'll be cool.

This has been the longest week ever. I can't believe it's only Thursday. Sorry for those of you dealing with extreme heat too. How hot are they forecasting it to be where you all are at?
Hot here too. This weekend it's supposed to be almost 100 actual temps. My in laws are coming to visit but I'm afraid we won't be able to spend much time outside.
I'm sitting at my Obs office scheduling my big surgery :/ today sucks. My dad called and was honestly trying to help but has really hurt my feelings. The triplets are in a phase of fighting every bottle and nap. My dad said that my family that helps us is all miserable and they dread having to do with them. He wanted us to stop following a schedule and just "feed them when they act hungry" bc having three kids on totally different schedules would make things so much better. Yah no. I don't want to be a burden to anyone. I just hate that it's Come to this right when I'm going to need the most help while I recover from my surgery. I'm an emotional wreck today. Just want to go to bed and cry.

90s actual temps I am sure the heat index is substantially higher. Blech. L has burped herself pretty much from the start so I mostly back pat for soothing purposes. snd1231 ugh sorry your fam made you feel bad about needing their help.
kelltothekell , I still burp DD but I probably won't much longer. She's pretty good at burping herself and is nearly over spitting up.
It's hot here too. Feels like 39C.
I was thinking we'd get DS some underwear today and go to the splash pad, but not in this heat.
Did any of my CDN friends get a chunk of cash from the government last night? What are you doing with yours??
Edited because my fat fingers posted before I was ready.
kelltothekell, I stopped burping M awhile ago. It never stopped her from spitting up, so I just stopped bothering.
It was supposed to be hot here all week, but It hasn't been awful for most of the day the last couple of days, because it's been raining overnight and off and on in the morning. When they rain stops it gets pretty hot, and humid (by Alberta standards, anyway).
I Should've got a cheque yesterday, since I don't have direct deposit set up yet. It's such a PITA. We don't have a printer, so I need to figure out how to send the form to my mom to print for me, and then mail it in. And the cheque might be late. H will check the mail on his way home from game night. I think we're going to take the kids to K-Days with the money, assuming it comes through before Tuesday. And then I'll spend the money from the next 3 months on a driver's ed course. It's stupidly expensive, but all of the less expensive ones don't have payment plans available and I can't pay for it all in one shot.
Also, hi! Haven't been around much. Posting on desktop is annoying, so I haven't done much.
Yes I've been wondering where you were!
My phone is still DOA, so I've been stuck on desktop. It's hard to do with M, so I've only been poking in while she naps. I can't wait until I get a new phone. The wedding on Saturday was nice. The ceremony was short and sweet, and the reception was a big party. I didn't drink, because I had the kids, and since I was only planning on having one or two anyway, I offered to DD for my parents. We left at like 11:30. S spent 85% of the night playing with the bride's teenaged cousins, they were so sweet with him, and he was sad to leave them. His best buddy is the son of the bride and groom, but he had to leave really early, like before it got dark. He was not happy about it.
DD3 wanted to party from 3:15 until 4:30 this morning. When we get back from the US, sleep training is going to the very top of the agenda.
M's been doing that the last couple of days. Tuesday night it was from 12:30-2 and then from 4-5 this morning. It's exhausting. She was also up late both nights. Up till 10:30 one night, and 11:30 the next. It's weird. I can't decide if it;s the heat, teeth, or a growth spurt. She's just waking up at odd times.
DD: I'm so glad I can see you Mommy! I love seeing you! *I go around a corner* DD: Mommy where did you go? Are you okay? You have 0.5 seconds to show yourself before I sound the alarm. DD: WAAaaaaa! WAAAAaaaaaa! WAAAaaaaaa!

All day every day.
My LO is starting to fuss when I leave in the morning. On the plus side I get a huge grin when I come home. Makes me feel loved I guess.
I'm making bfast casserole. Super easy. Cut up a can of flaky biscuits put them in the bottom of a greased Pyrex pan. Out sausage ( I use jimmy Dean pre cooked turkey sausage crumbles) on top add some cheese. Top that with about 6 eggs scrambled with some milk and salt and pepper. Bake in the over at 350 until brown.

I'm so sorry snd1231. That's really shitty of your Dad, even if he was trying to help.
kelltothekell, sometimes after nursing, I start patting DD's back and then I'm like, "WTF am I doing?" cause she doesn't need it anymore.
Speaking of spitting up, how is DD2 doing on that front, NellieOleson? I hope she is doing better and in turn you aren't doing as much laundry these days!

I got a Blue Apron delivery today. The recipes are in front of me and I'm currently debating between Spiced Pork Tacos or Spicy Hoisin Chicken and Rice Cakes. Hmmmmm???

dizzycooks - is that MN? (Picture blurry on my phone) That's where my H is from and my ILs still live. I've never been there in the summer and I don't think I ever want to! I'm way more scared of the heat, humidity, and mosquitos than I am of the cold.
scorpioscuba - thanks for asking! She is much, much better. Still probably spits up a lot compared to the average baby, but nowhere near how bad she was before. I still can't eat peanuts, nuts, or eggs without the projectile vomiting coming back in full force, though.

dizzycooks, did not know you were in Minnesota. Me too. I saw that graphic on FB today also and I don't think it's accurate. I had my baby six months ago yesterday and it definitely wasn't that cold. It also wasn't a Sunday. But, in general, the extremes are totally real!! Nothing quite like it. We are a crazy bunch!

I don't even get the chance to walk around the corner. It's mommy you aren't sitting on the floor with me. Waaaawaaaaawaaaaa.
