What do you ladies think of doing weekly threads instead of daily? We could start them every Monday. It seems like it might be easier to keep conversations going that way. I really prefer daily threads on a busy BMB, but I think we've slowed down enough that weekly makes more sense. Thoughts?

Actually I like that idea. Sometimes things are posted at night and I don't see it until the morning. I feel dumb commenting on it the next day I'm the new thread.
I got a Blue Apron delivery today. The recipes are in front of me and I'm currently debating between Spiced Pork Tacos or Spicy Hoisin Chicken and Rice Cakes. Hmmmmm???
I'm curious (and hungry) what did you end up with?

I was just coming here to post it!! Spiced Hoisin Chicken and Rice Cakes. It was really good and the rice cakes were something I'd never had before. DS loves to help.
valie my cheque went from 160 ish to 20ish. I understand this is due to family income and I'm cool with it. Just kinda felt like a kick in the tits.
Well that sucks. I didn't consider the people on the other end of the spectrum. Ours more than doubled by less than tripled and with two kids it makes a big difference.

Il bet! I think it's a great program! Just sucks to have what we used to have taken away but ah well. I'm all for it when I know it's not lining the politicians pockets!
I have this one and the one he is using with a handle. I can't find the handle one on Amazon though. Made by the same company. We started him on the handle less one and now he uses the one with the handle. He loves it and has been using them since about 2 1/2.
I wish I had a really good answer to this, but I don't.
It's a government iniative to support families especially ones that have less. We get a certain amount per month dependent on family income, and number of children under six, and over six.
Because we have some communist (is that the right one?) tendencies.

Ours almost doubled. I'm just hoping the nonsense with the post office doesn't delay it too much. I really need to get the direct deposit form sent in.
H just agreed to my plan for the fair! We're buying all day passes for S and I, since H is only in it for the food, and once it's later in the day and the kids are done, he'll take them home, and I'll stay with a friend or maybe my sister and go on the big rides. I love rides, and I can guarantee that S would not be cool with waiting for me to go on the grown up rides without him.
