Well, it's a quarter to 9 and so far everything is going pretty smoothly! She's been asleep more than normal, which makes me nervous that tonight she's going to be awake for forever, but I'm trying not to worry about it.
Glad to hear things were going well. Hope the trend continues lol

I'm really not feeling up to getting the baby and i around for church. DH already left because he's on worship team this week.
I'm tempted to rush to try to make the first service... But I think I'd be better off taking my time and going to the later one. The first one is less crowded so I like that one more but having a baby seems to have tripled how long everything takes lol
I made the mistake of laying down with the baby on the couch and relaxing. Now I have only 45 minutes to nurse, get us both dressed, my makeup and hair, and get our butts to church lol
To those of you battling the heat, I feel for you. It's about 100 here today.
k3am, we are just starting to get out of that phase. It is exhausting!
I am feeling a bit resentful of DH. He has hurt his back and been to chiropractor several times this week. Now he is getting a 90 minute massage. His hurt back means more work for me with DD and the baby. And I selfishly want a massage but any justify the expense or the time away from baby right now since I only have one week left of maternity leave. I should feel bad for him but mostly I don't. Trying not to feel like a mean wife.
DH has a bad back and his pain flared up since we switched sides in our bed. I'm over it and am quickly approaching the end of my patience with him. I can totally relate to you right now 😡.
Not much going on here today. MH is working so I'm home with the kids. I'm exhausted after being out at the bachelorette party but at least it should be a semi relaxing day.

On another note, I think DD may be teething? She's been drooling and fussy. When I put my finger in her mouth last night, I could feel what feels like a tooth on her bottom gum. Why must the grow up so fast 😕

If you can feel a tooth she probably is cutting one! However, when A was a baby he started showing signs of teething at about 10 weeks but didn't end up actually getting any teeth until much later. I don't remember now exactly when but I'd guess 4-5 months. Cam has started the same thing- drooling a ton and biting everything in sight. Im guessing he'll be the same way that A was.

Dealing with the same thing here! It will be interesting to see when it cuts through!

DS was an early teether too but I don't remember him cutting a tooth this early! Just had me surprised but like you said it could be a while before it breaks through

DD, DS and I had a tea party this morning with real tea and snacks. Trying to get DD to drink more. It was lots of fun but she got mad when her brother kicked over the teapot.
westiemom - like everyone else, I need to know more about this!!!! I've been so intrigued by these products!!!
In other news - I've escaped my house to get a relaxing pedicure before returning to the working real world tomorrow. I'm still bummed to send baby to daycare
westiemom, she is adorable and that contraption is hilarious and amazing and I love it!!!
k3am, I was thinking of your bottle issues. What kind of bottles have you tried?
DS1 had a b-day party at the park this morning for three of his school classmates. It was 79 when we got there and about 85 2hrs later. SO HOT. DS2 slept the entire time in the stroller bassinet, which was awesome! And now both of them are sleeping. I am really happy it seems like DS2 is getting into a nice schedule. let's hope he does it during the week too!!!!
As for teething, we are also on the early camp. DS1 had 2 teeth completely out by his 4-mo appt and the 3rd was visibly coming through. He had 2yr molars poking through at 19mo! crazy!

that's really cute! And such a clever idea to make drinking a game.
teraiinPAruby525 DD loved it! She had so much fun kicking around and looking at all the bath toys! She also enjoyed stretching out on her mat and getting a massage! We are going again next week I think!
elleseaannarose its a flotation device that holds their heads up and allows them to swim around! It's called Float Baby. They go to a class with 3 babies and each have their own tub and float. Afterwards, they are wrapped in a warm towel and parents give them a massage with lavender oil. The whole thing lasts an hour.

Hi y'all! We're back from our mini vacation. Things went well, other than the issue I posted about in the private forum moty thread. Ds1 had so much fun camping that we almost couldn't get him in bed last night (he wanted to "seep camper truck").
