Totally off topic: movies that always cheer you up

So, I'm in a fairly unfamiliar city without a car and just had a severe panic attack. In my frenzy to get out of where I was staying and to get to somewhere around people, I found myself at a comic book/movie/music store.

It closes in an hour, but I'm thinking I'll be up all night watching movies.
Which brings me to the point.

What movies do you like to watch when you need to laugh or be cheered up?

I'm currently holding A Goofy Movie. I almost picked up Rock of Ages because it is such a guilty pleasure, but they only have it on bluray.

menrandes, I hope you're doing better now! Panic attacks are the worst. For me, anything with Will Ferrell or Vince Vaughn cheers me up. Old School and Wedding Crashers are two of my faves. Back in my dating days I always used to watch The Wedding Singer after a break up because it somehow always made me feel better.

I'll second Will Ferrell movies.

I love Groundhog's Day, the new Lampoon's movie, The Hangover, Shaun of the Dead, Austin Powers . . .

Of course, outside of comedies, I'd go with Iron Man, Guardian's of the Galaxy, the new Star Treks, etc.

((hugs)) hope you are feeling better. My guilty pleasure movie has to be Eurotrip. We watched that over and over again in college. Even had custom Vandersexxx shirts made. Nothing like a Friday night drinking a case of Coors light and watching Eurotrip.
