Inlaws are visiting this weekend. My MIL is a nice person, but ever since having kids, everything she does annoys me. What is wrong with me. We have a fine relationship, and there are no major head butting issues, just a bunch of little things that should be no big deal. I was not like this before kids. I really need to force my mind to get over whatever this is.
Courtniko I'm like that with my step-MIL, she just rubs me the wrong way. Maybe this weekend you and her can do something together and just focus on her positive attributes!

I could have written this myself about my MIL. I think with me it might be a territorial thing. It's pretty irrational. I need to get over it. But it makes me feel better to know I'm not the only one feeling that way.
This absolutely is how I am! I'm glad to know I'm not alone. I've told Dh I know she's hasn't done anything but she just annoys me
My 2 year old is running around the house naked eating a marshmallow. Yep, it's Friday. No idea how he found a marshmallow, but no way am I fighting that battle.
My MIL got an Instagram and followed me and it pissed me off because I just don't want her in every little part of my life, I mean it shouldn't have been a big deal but I changed my account to private and blocked her. Sorry not sorry
It dawned on me today that I could not even guess when the last time I slept a whole night straight was! Between being pregnant and uncomfortable and now with DD. It's a very strange realization

My SIL is a vet tech and she likes to joke about animal anal glands. All I can think of now is anal glands and how somehow I wouldn't want to be wearing a white bathing suit on that cover.
I get really annoyed (maybe irrationally) when people are so visibly disappointed by the sex of their child. It's a baby. This amazing new life that's all yours... and you're pissy because it doesn't have the genitalia you wanted it to have?
Yuuuup. It also annoyed me that people assumed I really wanted a girl. I'm thrilled to have one of each, but I would've been thrilled to have two boys or two girls. Just give me a sweet little baby!
I am! But I'm also happy to say what I thought was my period wasn't. Thank goodness.
I didn't get mine with DD1 until she was 15 months old. I went almost 2 years to the day without.
Didn't get it back with DD2 until she was 21 months old, so counting pregnancy that was 30 months without a period. Awesome!!
I've had exactly six periods in nine years. It's been so long since I've had them regularly that the thought scares and grosses me out about as much as it did when I was 14 and got it for the first time.

For so long my periods have been a source of absolute disappointment and heartache that it's going to be odd just to get them and not have it mean anything any more.
We tried for DD for 2 years and then I didn't get my period back until DD was 13 months and by that stage we were ready to try for another baby so it's been 5 years or so since I really just had a period and it wasn't a 'thing'.
I have a food storage obsession. I just purchased a set of sistema. A few weeks ago, I bought a lunchblox set. Before that was pyrex. I have a lot of mismatched stuff in a cabinet.
I'm obsessed with Pyrex (and Corelle dishes, made by the same company). I have a collection of old school Pyrex and Corelle that I'm working on.

We had two nights of LO going to bed at 9.30pm and sleeping till 4.00am, then down again until 7.30am. It was wonderful!!
But the past two nights, including tonight by the looks of it, he's fallen asleep super early (like 5.30pm and there's nothing that fully wakes him up again so he goes to bed) and then wakes at 11.30pm, 3.30pm and 6.30pm.

And in other news, I just bought a Bissell Deluxe Carpet Cleaner to deal with all the spots left from LO's projectile vomiting. It's sad how excited I am to use it.
It lasts for several months The hair regrowth is super awkward, too. It's such an unpleasant side effect after you think you're all done with the unpleasantness of having a baby.

Why the early nod off all of a sudden kid?!
Did he get enough naps in during those early bedtime days?
I searched for a good 10 minutes for DS's paci. I found it 3 hours later down my shirt. It must have dropped in there when I was holding him. I'm too tired for another Monday.

Is anyone else following the new Blind Items Revealed over on Parenting? Holy heck! I'm only 12 pages in to over 200 pages! I know I'm losing valuable life minutes that I can never get back but I can't look away!!

My cleavage is my normal storage spot for DS' paci! I have also put bottles of my milk in my cleavage to keep it warm while getting him ready for bed (he gets a bottle of my milk at night to hide the vitamin D supplement).

I started to, then it just got ridiculously long. Do not have the time. For a while I even just went on Cher's page to read just her posts for the actual reveals.
