DH is playing J all of the theme songs to the cartoons we watched when we were kids (Ducktales, Chip & Dale, some weird shows I didn't watch as a girl lol) and it got me thinking. What are you looking forward to with LO? Anything you want to pass on?
I'm looking forward to morning cuddles in bed watching all of those old cartoons and making memories with J and potential future babies.
When DS1 was born, I couldn't wait until he was old enough for saturday and sunday brunch. It was something we did growing up. My dad made amazing pancackes, eggs and more. So about the time DS1 was 15mo old he was in the kitchen with us making pancakes, eggs, sausage or bacon, sometimes scones...and it's what we do every saturday and sunday! He's almost 2.5 and he knows how to make the pancake batter pretty much on his own and even corrected me this morning as I almost forgot to measure in an extra 1/4 cup milk!
I look forward to an annual beach vacation (around Easter) and a great summer trip once DS2 is about 4-5yrs old! Family vacations in general!
I'm looking forward to Christmas morning with our 2 girls
I'm looking forward to having both of my girls in dance -but not the bill lol we just signed DD1 up and she starts in 3 weeks! I hope she likes it
I'm looking forward to watching my girls play together
I am also looking forward to cooking with my girls. DD1 likes to help cook now but it sounds like babycaps lets her son do more than I do. She helps me mix and dump things right now.
annarose, we let him do a lot in the kitchen. He doesn't get knives yet, but he helps measure and we do A LOT of counting in the kitchen! It causes a mess here and there. One of my favorites is letting him make pasta from scratch with me. I make the dough, but he helps feed it through the pasta maker and LOVES it!

I'm looking forward to our new lifestyle with a child... I have always been jealous of my friends who had that special bond with their child. He's starting to really react to seeing me differently than seeing just anybody, and I LOVE IT.
I'm looking forward to sharing reading with him, specifically HP. I'm looking forward to Christmas lights on Christmas Eve with hot chocolate. I'm looking forward to seeing my H and little H share sports. I'm looking forward to seeing our parents love on him and spoil him. I'm looking forward to giving him siblings to share our lives with!!

I'm looking forward to creating our own traditions as a family. I'm looking forward to watching my kids grow and play together as well as with their cousins. I didn't have any cousins close to my age growing up I'm excited to go on family vacations and travel together
I'm looking forward to playing board games with her. And watching her and h play video games together. I'm looking forward to when we finally get to take her to the ILs houseboat at the lake. And watching her personality grow and her being a sarcastic little shit.
Right now with this colic all I'm looking forward to is not having a screaming baby at night that I have to bounce around outside. And eating a meal while it's hot. And being able to put him down without immediate screaming.

Looking forward to sharing our family traditions with DS. We love fall activities and have several things we do during that season. I also look forward to seeing my two kiddos together as siblings.

Thank you! It's slowly starting to get better. But very slowly.
