I woke up this morning to H cheering. We finally found a good pediatrician in walking distance that takes Medicaid! This has been a HUGE stressor and I'm so happy it's off our list. We're going there for a group meeting on Wednesday but I can't imagine we'll have a problem since multiple people recommended this practice.
I couldn't sleep last night until at least 2:30am so I spent the time organizing. This morning someone is coming to clean the apartment. Hopefully we can keep it clean until the babies arrive!
hollyberry, the twins are adorable!!!! annbuhdan, I can't wait to see pictures of Baby Girl! Congratulations!
DH is home with a man cold. He felt "so nauseous he almost threw up" this morning. While I'm sympathetic and hope he feels better soon, I also spent 3 months so nauseous I wished for the sweet release of death and still made it to work. I'm also wondering if some of it is just his needed a mental health day. His job has been really stressful recently, and with the baby coming soon (a fact I think he is just now really processing) it's a lot for a person who hates change so much it took him 9 yrs to propose lol
On a brighter note, we got all the hand me downs from DH's Bro/SIL. SO.MANY.CLOTHES. Our niece was an August baby so sizes/season will line right up. Plus they sent their CD stash and a HUGE box of bottles, so I'll be bleaching and prepping diapers and figuring out the best way to wash and sanitize about a bizillion bottles and nipples...

lennonkdc I spent my friday night sanitizing bottles. We bought a microwave sterilizer, then my CW gave me hers and then I remembered our neighbor gave us one too so after washing everything I just got into a system of steaming them, etc. It worked out really well! H thinks I'm crazy, but I think I'm in my nesting phase now.

It's a really good thing the cleaning lady likes dogs because Callie is NOT behaving. She keeps switching between following at her heel like a little assistant, and chasing her around barking as loudly as possible. Fortunately she seems to find it adorable, even though it's giving me a headache.

bocaburger we have to put our dog in day care when the cleaning lady comes over. He hates most blondes for some reason so we just don't want to chance it.
Which reminds me I should have her clean the house before this baby gets here!

LOL our dog is racist, she barks way more at Latinos for some reason.
Hi everyone! Baby girl (no name still) was born at 2:20 this morning. She did great and she's cute as can be! I'll have to post a picture later in her little bow hospital hat.
