Last time we attempted sex was about a week ago it just wasn't working for me. I was so uncomfortable and became easily frustrated. I guess i should attempt to try again....
I'm washing clothes and resting. I was hoping for a pop of energy towards the end, but right now I have no idea how I'm going to make it through the next few weeks, never mind labor and delivery....

agpjt413, - UGH, I WISH (and I'm sure DH wishes as well) that I actually wanted to have sex. We've done the deed twice in the past week and a half, and both times were nice, but I wouldn't even be attempting it if it weren't to try to get labor started. I know it will be a while, but I just can't wait to do it without this huge painful belly in the way.

Your Hs are super lucky - we haven't had sex since I got my BFP! It's awful - not for lack of trying but I think that being on progesterone supplements, it's just made everything super sensitive down there and it just hurts. There have been times that we've attempted when I wasn't in as much pain, but MH just lost his drive thinking about how we're having sex while I'm incubating another human being. I'm so glad, though, that lack of sex during this entire pregnancy hasn't driven a wedge b/w us and we're still as close as ever. I just feel so sad that I haven't been able to "fulfill my wifely duties," KWIM?
ETA: However I have at least been able to pleasure him in other ways w/o feeling sick so that's something right?!
Just left my OB appt. 5cm smh. Son, please get out of my womb. If she had told me to head to the hospital so we could start an induction I would have gone. Don't pass go. Don't collect $200. Straight to the hospital. That's how done I feel.
I did, however, sign the baby's eviction papers today. Next Tuesday it's a go.

5CM?! I probably would have demanded to go to the hospital to start an induction at that point. Seriously did not realize you could be 5cm and not actively in labor!

Hospital policy here is strange. They won't keep you unless you are 6cm or 39 weeks, unless medically indicated. Technically, my induction next week is elective even though baby is SGA and I've had prodromal labor for over a month. The dr made sure to put all this in the order because the prodromal labor alone puts me higher on the totem pole than the mom thats elective for just back pain etc.
My uterus is just a snotty bitch that doesn't give good contractions. And I guess my cervix is just as uppity and does whatever it wants. I have given up lol
I know this pain so very well on the bratty lady parts. All my sympathy for pain without gain. It'll be over soon!

H is stuck at my IL's house (2 hours away) because it keeps storming. I better not go into labor while he's gone. I don't think I'm letting him out of my sight again for the next two weeks!
I thought the malt was going to make me miserable the other day. Apparently, pregnancy has lessened my dairy sensitivity. I'm thinking of getting another one tonight to see if we can recreate the same results.
For science, of course.
I was definitely able to tolerate all the dairy while pregnant. I'm still waiting for that to wear off, but I'm enjoying it in the mean time.
kaitkat she will be fine! More babies always equals more fun I do have to say having baby dolls and play bottles and diapers has helped. They like to sit next to me and take care of their babies too
DH just called from the kitchen "hey babe... Did you give B apple juice today?" I did... He sent me a video clip of the apple juice container- in B's cup drawer. Oops.
steph, that is classic and amazing and I hope you don't mind that I laughed
Update to rubber duckies: I found a 50 count lot of duckies on Amazon for $20. Um.... yes. I TOTALLY BOUGHT THEM. I did get permission from SO, though. "That's a lot of ducks." Yes, I know... but she loves them! "Well, get them, then. Go on!" Yusssssssssss! 💕
Anyone watching the DNC? This little girl Karla has me in tears.
Mountain time and DD just went to bed. I tried to watch it while she was still awake, but got overruled. I'm a political junky though and looking forward to turning it on!
Had a fun evening. Got called into L&D because some of my labs came back elevated. Between that and the headache (which is finally gone, yay!) the nurse on the phone mumbled about the possibility of induction and said we should probably bring the labor bag, just in case. Much adrenaline. Went to the hospital, got blood drawn, did fetal monitoring, etc. Everything else is fine.
We'll be doing bi-weekly NSTs and weekly blood work until something changes. My doctors don't think we'll be making it to 40 weeks. We officially feel like we are on-notice.

Corey Booker was brilliant and Michelle Obama killed it.

I am! I had a couple of contractions during Michelle's speech, and was like, "Welp, guess I may be having this baby at home." (Contractions stopped; no baby.)
