I'd rather be sleeping, randoms this week

Gotta get back on the healthy train. I fell off hard the last few weeks. I bought stuff so I could bring salad to work everyday (spinach, blueberries, tomatoes, mozzarella balls and strawberry vin. dressing), apples, and some breakfast biscuits. I need to up my fruit/veg intake big time! Vacation was full of pizza, pasta, beer, wine and cupcakes. No drinking until Friday for me! I planned to get to the gym before work, but I didn't hear my alarm so I didn't wake up until it was too late. Ugh. So now I need to go after work. I need to put my alarm on the other side of the room with an alarm I'll actually hear.

DH and I talked (briefly) and I'm going to start night weaning DS2. After we night weaned DS1, he started sleeping through the night. Hopefully we'll get more sleep. But also we are planning to go out of town for a couple of nights in September so...

Not much going on for me today. Work sucks, per usual. I reconnected with an old high school friend last night over facebook so that's fun. Also he got HOTTTTTTT. So that's even funner.

Speaking of hot guys, I had the most random dream about an ex-boyfriend. In my dream, he was divorced and we were reconnecting. He had moved to my area or something. I remember it was feeling the ground work for an affair. It was weird.

For the record, he's married and was terrible in bed. But so pretty to look at.

So breathing is rather difficult today - apparently I'm sensitive to all the ash in the air from the neverending wildfire. 33,000 acres and counting, it's so sad.

Work sucks today so am just soldiering thru and hoping tomorrow is better. Maybe I'll take a page from tuscanlatte 's book and focus on birthday party ideas!

Lazy day today. I planned to go to the library with the boys but my garage door would not open. I couldn't manually open it either. The repair guy is coming tomorrow. Now e is napping and ds1 is playing outside in our kiddie pool. I'm supervising and catching up on here.

Almost through the first day back. Not as awful as it could be. I really need to get some people to get high interest rate loans though so I can hit my number. I'm living on borrowed time here still.

This day is dragging!! I have so much to do and no motivation to do it all on my own. Shitty coworker never did show up.
On top of that, news that, for sure my position will be done in December. Grrrrreat. I am dreading the job search. Trying to find something that pays even 3/4 what I make now seems impossible. Since DH is in school, I feel a lot of pressure about my wage. Sigh.

The job I applied for I have a really good chance at. It just sucks because its probably less money, way more traveling, and not nearly as flexible. whomp.

This seems really hard! I feel for you, my anxiety would be through the roof, needing to hit certain numbers.

tuscanlatte good luck with the job search. I need to step that up myself. I really hate this job, but I like being able to pay my bills. I'm trying not to stress about making my numbers and just focus on getting shit done.

I'm on ET. I get up around 6:30 now. I'm a lazy pants. I was getting up at 5ish but my work schedule changed and I used the opportunity to sleep in.

Had a yucky day between M sleeping for 20 minutes today (after his nap before getting up! Lol) and subsequent clingyness, and having struggles again with DS1, I just want to pour a glass of wine and sit on my deck. But unfortunately I need to continue being a contributing member of this family..sigh. DH did bring me home flowers because of the stressful day (first time he has gotten me flowers since before we were married) . So that's good.
