Week/Team/Fruit: 18w4d/PINK/bell pepper? I need to know what apps you guys use for this, the one I downloaded apparently is not free after 16 weeks, and I refuse to purchase it!
Appointments this week: the usual - weekly scan for anemia, with a longer anatomy scan ultrasound to check everything out. DH is coming, and once they confirm gender (they were 90% sure last week it's a girl) we will announce to our families.
Symptoms/Questions: still nauseous from time to time, and my mouth tastes like feet again.
What are you doing to have a healthy pregnancy this week?: oops ignored this question the first time. I still need to focus on getting in enough vegetables, but gagging still makes that challenging...
QOTW: If you could go on vacation anywhere (let's pretend we're not pregnant and have no limitations) - where would you go? I would love to take a cruise/trek around the Mediterranean for a few weeks.

fikafairy67, I use Ovia and What to Expect when Expecting. They are both free, but sometimes their fruits are kind of inconsistent. @kc295905, I'm trying to scale back on the ice cream this week. I never liked sweets until PG! @cahistoryteacher, yay for the anatomy scan!

Week/Team/Fruit: 21 weeks/boy/girl/Belgian Endive
Appointments this week: Nothing until August
Symptoms/Questions: Tired and swollen feet/ankles
What are you doing to have a healthy pregnancy this week?: I am trying to eat less ice cream and getting 8,000 steps per day.
QOTW: If you could go on vacation anywhere (let's pretend we're not pregnant and have no limitations) - where would you go? Somewhere tropical like Thailand or the Seychelles. Or eating and drinking my way through Italy.
Appointments this week: Wednesday for the AS with my Dr. So she can tell me a third time its a boy. I am working on my surprised face in the mirror...I have to show some excitement. So she doesn't think I cheated on her with an alternative Dr.
Symptoms/Questions: I feel like I have been always complaining about this but GAS! OMG...I just have days that I am soo gassy. I really need to get some gas-x. Oh and the new one...fml..my lower abdomen muscles must be stretching to their limits so if I sneeze, cough and or stretch I feel like my lower abdomen is going to snap in half...it hurts so bad.
What are you doing to have a healthy pregnancy this week? Oh you know what any sane person does..eat whoppers and candy of course. I am trying to keep up with my workouts 3x a week. But I eat crap cause damnit if I don't crave it.
If you could go on vacation anywhere - where would you go? OHHHHHH Seychelle islands of course...supposedly one of the most beautiful beaches in the world..off the coast of india. I would go alone..hell I don't need DH...Hut on the water.
@kc295905, YEAH 20 weeks...super jealous. Why do I feel like the last picked kid over here with 18 weeks. I can second the lets just eat allllll the time.
@cahistoryteacher, How exciting for the Anatomy scan...are we finding out. IF YOU HAVE SAID THIS A TRILLION TIMES. I apologize in advance and plead my brain doesn't go very far past the last 24 hours now a days. Touring all of Europe GOOD ONE. I would join you and then we can run to the seychelle islands and bask.
fikafairy67, Yeah to anatomy scan to tell you if they were right the first time . Just download either The Bump or Ovia Pregnancy as suggested they are free and good ones. Everyone in my household is not doing so good with the vegetable thing...even DD. Due to me being horrible her carb intake and fruit intake should make me call CPS.

requiressnacks, You get a post all by yourself...WE ARE A MATCH MADE IN HEAVEN. Your the only other person that has mentioned the Seychelles ever and I usually have to explain where it is. *Sniffle snot* If we don't get to go by the time we are 50 lets go together. Swollen feet and ankles...how is your water intake? And are you eating a lot of salts.

haha! I watched a travel show once all about the Seychelles and I've been telling people that is my dream destination every since! It looked to pristine and beautiful. I can't even imagine what the flights and/or cost look like to get there!
Like....I WANT THIS:
re: the swelling - I drink a lot, I walk a lot and I don't eat a lot of salt. I think it's just the heat. Who knows. I put my feet up when I get home and it usually gets better. Thankfully!

requiressnacks, WHO THE HELL WOULDN"T WANT TO GO THERE...But we would definitely have to take one of our kids down from full 4 year university to starting at community college first...lol. BUT don't we deserve that.
Oh and with the swollen ankles and feet sounds like my GF just one of her symptoms that just didn't leave her. I am sorry..hopefully cooler weather brings on a change.

requiressnacks, I'm with you. My ankles and feet are so swollen (BP is fine, no real reason at this point besides it's summer and I'm pregnant, I guess) It doesn't hurt, it just looks ...weird..., lol. Whatever. Also, I WANT TO BE IN THAT WATER! OMG! I'm definitely "THAT PERSON" WineNChocolate, I don't know where that is, but I don't care--take all my money and make me get there! LOL. It looks fancy and beautiful! fikafairy67, I use ovia, or I just reference the bump ticker that I have in my sig if I don't like the fruit/vegetable option they gave me in ovia. @kc295905, Italy sounds awesome. So does an all-of-Europe tour, @cahistoryteacher!
IVF+ICSI March 2016 (6R/5M/5F - 3 embryos on ice) 4/7/16: first ever BFP! EDD: 12/17/16 DS Arrived via C-Section 12/19/16! FET #1 June 2019 - 1 embryo didn't survive thaw & the one that did didn't stick around. BFN FET #2 September 2019 - last embryo didn't survive thaw.
What are you doing to have a healthy pregnancy this week?: LOL. Try to not eat everything?
QOTW: If you could go on vacation anywhere (let's pretend we're not pregnant and have no limitations) - where would you go? I've always wanted to visit Rome.

fikafairy67, i just google it each week, lol..also, your mouth tasting like feet has to be one of the most awful symptoms ever...it makes me want to hurl just thinking about it!
WineNChocolate, i totally feel you on the ligament pain- i can't stop sneezing and there are times I'm pretty sure I'm going to die the next time I sneeze
Week/Team/Fruit: 19 weeks/??/mango
Appointments this week: nothing...waiting till next Aug 3rd for our big scan
Symptoms/Questions: RLP from hell today (like a charlie horse below my belly button if I get up too fast!)
What are you doing to have a healthy pregnancy this week?: I'm Type II and getting to the point in pregnancy where the foods I've been eating and not having spikes from are starting to raise my levels- so I'll be scaling back on the carbs even further trying to get my #s back where they need to be so I can stave off insulin a bit longer
QOTW: If you could go on vacation anywhere (let's pretend we're not pregnant and have no limitations) - where would you go? Oooh...tough call..on the one hand, I love all this Caribbean and would go spend awhile there..on the other hand, I'd love to go visit all the Disney Parks in 1 trip- I've only ever been to Florida but there are so many cool things at the others I'd love to see
Appointments this week: none until August 9 unfortunately. I'm just anxious to make sure everything looked find on the anatomy scan and that the quad screen bloodwork came back okay! Although surely they would have called if anything was amiss with either.
Symptoms/Questions: agreeing with PP on the abdominal pain, pretty fatigued, and pretty hormonal
What are you doing to have a healthy pregnancy this week?: maintaining my sanity is currently the only thing I am trying to do. We are remodeling our back room to be the baby's room so our house is a disaster and it's driving me crazy.
QOTW: If you could go on vacation anywhere (let's pretend we're not pregnant and have no limitations) - where would you go?: Sandals resort at Montego Bay, Jamaica for sure!! DH and I went there for our honeymoon two years ago and have always said we're going to go back for our 5 year anniversary!

lastnamewithheld, If you don't have enough money I think I have a rather large suitcase that would do just fine LOL. Side note I guess I am more of "that person" since 90% have no idea what I am talking about. lol
tbonequeen13, brit365, Ladies misery loves company what can I say...I am sorry but it makes me feel better to know I am not the only one that gets scared everytime I feel a sneeze or cough coming.
good luck Friday @cahistoryteacher ! congrats on team pink fikafairy67 ! I am using the Ovia app. It's okay. I didn't love any of them that much but that was the one with the least annoying ads and the least annoying tone (did not say things like, "ooh, you're 18 weeks today, Mommy!") requiressnacks seconding compression socks. They are amazing. It feels like you are giving your feet and legs a hug. lastnamewithheld I have been getting tingly hands too, especially after work. Carpal tunnel? Who knows?
Week/Team/Fruit: 18/pink/sweet potato
Appointments this week: yes! I have a monthly OB checkup on Thursday.
Symptoms/Questions: still feeling pretty good! I have achy legs and feet, but nothing too crazy. And I started to be able to feel the nugget moving a little! so exciting!
What are you doing to have a healthy pregnancy this week?: yoga 4x a week, and eating healthy meals. I'm also going to try to eat more meat/fish. my one major aversion this pregnancy in general has been to any kind of meat, which is unusual for me. maybe the kiddo is a vegetarian.
QOTW: If you could go on vacation anywhere (let's pretend we're not pregnant and have no limitations) - where would you go? I would go to Japan for a month. And also Costa Rica, because I'm pretending I don't have to worry about Zika either.

Week/Team/Fruit: 21w2d/Pink/Bok Choy or carrot
Appointments this week: nada until elective 3D u/s on 8/3
Symptoms/Questions: lots of baby kick and what feel like rolls. Lower pelvic and tail bone pain, I already waddle because it hurts so bad. I feel so ridiculous.
What are you doing to have a healthy pregnancy this week? Not eating everything in sight.
QOTW: I'd love to do an African Safari and camp out in one of those tree house things there.
QOTW: I'd love to do an African Safari and camp out in one of those tree house things there.
My 6th grade teacher, now retired, leads safaris for photographers and then ones for educators. I want to go on one so bad. When she was younger she started a school in Kenya and we were pen pals with them. She's still very close to a bunch of people there. She sees the most gorgeous animals, sees the same lion prides each year.
Week/Team/Fruit: 19/Pink/a zucchini... which isn't really helpful, Ovia.
Appointments this week: My anatomy scan is on Thursday! I'm super excited even though we already know it's a girl.
Symptoms/Questions: My boobs have started hurting a lot again
What are you doing to have a healthy pregnancy this week?: Ha ha.
QOTW: If you could go on vacation anywhere (let's pretend we're not pregnant and have no limitations) - where would you go? Somewhere all inclusive without kids and lots of drinks. The location doesn't even matter.

We did a tree house in Belize for our honeymoon. So cool, but those jungle sounds at night got a little scary. Howler monkeys are LOUD!
@kc295905, I want to visit Italy for the same reason @cahistoryteacher, any particular place in Europe you want to go, or just all over? fikafairy67, I also use the OVIA app- I like how easy it is to text DH the daily updates requiressnacks and WineNChocolate,, the Seychelles would be so relaxing right now. I also like WineNChocolate, idea of leaving DH behind. lastnamewithheld, I literally LOLed at your healthy goal for the week. I feel that way too after some days. tbonequeen13, I hope your RLP eases up soon brit365, I hear you about the feeling like your house is a disaster. Our second floor family room is full of everything that used to be in the future nursery. There is way too much stuff to go through to see if we are going to box up/donate/toss. emilie, Are your aversions all meats and fish, or just some? I cannot eat chicken at all- or cook any meat unless it is ground up. mrsp121308, I would love to do an Africian safari! I keep telling DH it would be fun to take the twins on one someday, he just rolls his eyes. Lucy, We did an adult only all inclusive in February. It was so nice to go on a vacation and not have screaming kids all around. We both agree it will be done again once the twins are old enough to stay at the grandparents on their own for a few days.
Week/Team/Fruit: 21/Purple/Bok Choy
Appointments this week: No more appointments for a few more weeks
Symptoms/Questions: Insomnia like crazy.
What are you doing to have a healthy pregnancy this week?: Trying to drink lots of water with all this heat
QOTW: If you could go on vacation anywhere (let's pretend we're not pregnant and have no limitations) - where would you go? We were hoping to go to Cartagena, Columbia for a babymoon, but zika...hopefully we will get there someday
Becca fish is the thing I am least grossed out by, followed by steak, followed by chicken. I think I have eaten chicken once during this pregnancy, and it was fried, which made it palatable. And red meat I've only eaten a couple times. I have been able to eat fillets of fish, shellfish, and stuff like sausage and bacon.

Week/Team/Fruit: 19/IDK/Mango/Tomato
Appointments this week: U/S next week!
Symptoms/Questions: Yaaaay, baby kicks!
What are you doing to have a healthy pregnancy this week?: Eating healthy and exercising. I did yoga last night and went for a run at the Y on my lunch break. And now I'm eating onion rings from BK. It's about balance. However, in regards to healthy pregnancy, I'm worried a bit that I'm overdoing it. I haven't gained any weight yet, which isn't normal (at least compared to my last pregnancy). It's on my list of things to ask my midwife next week.
QOTW: If you could go on vacation anywhere (let's pretend we're not pregnant and have no limitations) - where would you go? Italy! Or Greece. DH has been to Greece multiple times and loves it.
Symptoms/Questions: Feeling baby kicks/movement more often - I can often feel them on the outside too, but DH hasn't felt any yet, mostly because they're still sporadic enough that he'd have to sit there forever with his hand on my belly in hopes of catching one. Some reflux - it's weird, it's not really heartburn and isn't at all painful; it just feels like my stomach contents occasionally make their way partway back up my esophagus (probably if I've eaten too much in one meal / sitting)
What are you doing to have a healthy pregnancy this week?: Walking the dog and trying to eat reasonably healthy-ish.
QOTW: If you could go on vacation anywhere (let's pretend we're not pregnant and have no limitations) - where would you go? Hmm . . . Probably a Carribbean cruise, which we did for our honeymoon and would love to do again
Symptoms/Questions: I mean, this is totally TMI, but holy hell the crotch sweat... It is disgusting. I've been trying to google solutions.
What are you doing to have a healthy pregnancy this week?: Well not working out, which is what I need to be doing. Trying to take it easy due to a few stressors, and hoping to get back on workouts next week. It's just SO HOT outside, so walks are out of the question.
QOTW: If you could go on vacation anywhere (let's pretend we're not pregnant and have no limitations) - where would you go? I would do a long tour of Europe, especially Greece and the French Riviera.
