tumbleweed I'm so sorry you're going through the cow milk allergy/intolerance trouble. Blood in poop sounds scary! I hope your little tumble-tot is okay and that you guys are both more comfortable soon.
Thinking of you this morning babyzebra and packerfan4life. Hope the transition back this week goes ok.
Thanks for thinking of me titania! It was really hard to go back to work yesterday. Everything went fine, but I'm still upset about it. DH had a good day with DD though, so I'm happy about that. Hopefully I should have more time to read and post today.

I know it must have been so super hard. I was upset just thinking about you! I'm so glad YH had a good day with her. I'm sending you love this week! ❤️
pbandj714 I think about you three often! My cousin was here this weekend and she has twins. She was talking about how the only thing she could do while breastfeeding was watch tv. I told her you were on my forum and she said yeah that would've been impossible for me to keep up with. I appreciate you checking in
It's just a start but there's differences between intolerance and allergy. Hopefully your doc can help but it's good to have a background. If it's an actual allergy thought they can't test until they are a bit older.

Thanks for this. That blog looks great. I called the pedi again today after seeing more blood in his diaper and she wants us to use only special formula for a week or so and see how he is. I'm crushed and can't stop crying about this. We worked so hard to breastfeed. She did say that we can add breastfeeding back in once I've been off dairy longer (it's been 7 days) but for now she wants to get his stomach back on track. I understand, but I'm still sad. Also, we are flying next week and this is just going to make things harder for us. I'm sorta hoping that if he improves, that she'll let me breastfeed by the time I'm off dairy for two weeks...which would be right when we fly.

That sucks. I know people who have continued to Bf despite allergies and mspi. So don't give up hope. I'm a reg over on the cloth diaper board and that's where quite a few ppl have dealt with this. If you want me to ask and tag you in I'm happy to and you can ask questions. (Clearly we don't just talk about diapers). I'm sorry he is still not feeling well.

Hey! Was offline all day! So, T wouldn't take the formula. We really tried, but he spit it out and looked at me like I was trying to feed him fire. So, I'm still nursing him. I'd love any advice on how long others have had to wait for their milk to be free of cow milk. So, any advice from the CD board would be great! I do think that there was some improvement today. No blood, and poop was yellow. So, moving in the right direction. Still some mucus, and the morning poop was not without a little struggle. The rest of the day he seemed less affected. I'm really hoping that tomorrow will be even better. Fx.
