Understandably so. I think you may have to deal til he stops being so flaily unfortunately. I'm having issues too.E is breaking out of swaddles but won't keep her hands out of her face which wakes her up. Would a sleep sack help at all? The little bit of Extra weight might help him relax more. I don't know we used them with dd1 til she was like 18 months because she really liked them and it signaled bedtime.
#SecretSwaddle4Life! Or, until E can roll. Now that he doesn't cry all day it might be soon.
I know and I was! But she's too tall for the swaddle sleep sacks. I do the arms only swaddle which is some what similar and she gets out lol. She got out of the secret swaddle a couple times too.
I'm getting tired of the extra effort lol. I wish I could just dump her into her bed. She screams through getting dressed for bed.
Miles has a new thing where he won't go back to sleep after his 5am feed so I've gotten into the habit of laying down and letting him nurse himself to sleep/sleeping with him till my alarm clock goes off.
I made it to four and a half months, but apparently now, I'm a partial co-sleeper.
I do this often as well after a 5 am feed depending how often she's been up that night.

If A won't go back down after 5am I wake up DH and make him take her into the living room so I can sleep. I figure I'm up with her all night long. 5 is early but not horrible. And it's not every day, maybe 1-2 times a week. Wife of the year.

E will be 4 months on Saturday and were hitting the 4 month regression right on time . Would love to hear some stories about coming out the other side of it with sanity intact!

Hah, I have yet to come out of it. She started at 3.5 months and is 4.5 months now...

DS1 hit the regression HARD at 3.5 months. We went through 2 months of hell but then he was STTN consistently. That was over 2 years ago and aside for a bad night here and there due to teething or being sick, he's been an awesome sleeper. It was awful at the time but now it's a hazy memory and proof that we can survive anything!

My kid is an overtired mess that won't nap today. He's slept for all of 15 minutes. DHs solution was to stick a bottle in his mouth when I wasn't around even though he had just eaten half an hour earlier so now he's an overtired baby with a tummyache because he got way too much to eat. I also get to worry about producing enough milk today.

DS didn't sleep from 4-7 months. Now at 2 he is the best sleeper ever. However bad it may be now it won't last forever!

I consider it a challenge before the whole human race, and I ain't gonna lose.

Sleepsacks for lyfe. DS (2) still wears one because it signals sleep time. Plus, it helped to keep him from climbing out of his crib when he was younger.

I just gave B the "you've gotta be kidding me" face while trying to get her take her paci & nap (this has been going on for over 30min btw). Her response? She spat the paci out at me and GIGGLED. She might be a bit of a smartass. I have no idea who she gets that from.

That's how my first was! At 7 months it got better. This baby hit the regression about a week before she turned four months. She'll be five months on Monday and it has gotten better but she's still not where she was before the regression.

***Trigger warning - pregnancy loss***
I'm at a loss on what the right thing to do is. DH's cousin shared a post on Facebook that included a photo of an 11 week old baby that had been miscarried. To say it was jarring and upsetting would be an understatement. It's the first time I've encountered this kind of thing on social media. I've been battling back and forth - do I send her a message letting her know that, or am I being extra sensitive because of my own losses and just let it be?
ETA: The photo was not hers, but a post she had shared from someone else.

What was the context of the post? Could she have shared it in an effort to shed more light on miscarriage? Is it possible she could be going thru a loss & instead of sharing her personal story she shared this? Does she know of your losses?

B is napping on her tummy. Ugh it's making me anxious.
She was asleep on her tummy at bedtime last night, and I had to roll over her over for my piece of mind. H looked at me like I was a crazy woman.
I flipped my DD back to her back until she was a year old. I still look at her some nights on the monitor and she is on her belly and the thought of rolling her over crosses my mind. She's 2 1/2. Now that is crazy

M would not sleep at all if we didn't leave her on her stomach when she rolls, which is every sleep. I'm paranoid and use a breathing monitor and the video monitor, but we all like sleep also.

This has been us since day 1, I just don't sleep while he's snooze feeding because cosleeping scares the shit out of me.
